What's that chunky anti-material rifle hanging up in John Malkovic's gun-den? Looks to me like a Steyr 50HS, except with a custom scope?? - Bigchiefreefa
I think it might be an AR-50. The one in the movie has the same horizontal grooves as an Ar-50. Also, the rifle in the movie doesn't have a magazine. The Ar-50 is a single-shot .50cal. I think it's one of the two. -Dr. Feelgood
Anyone know what this is?
I don't know power tools so I need help ;) mpm What is Malkovich holding and loading?
It's for punching concrete nails. You insert .22 blanks, and it pressures out nails with a sabot. --Gwhysow 18:35, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
- I KNEW it was some sort of hammer, but do you know which one?
It is a HILTI DX 460-F8. http://www.hilti.de/holde/page/module/product/prca_rangedetail.jsf?lang=de&nodeId=-69275
Yahoo movies just released a new trailer that shows some more guns and better angles on the ones we already know. Just FYI.--Spades of Columbia 18:33, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
fitting for a character that act crazy to be using a nail gun
He's not using the nail gun as a weapon but too bolt down the .50 tripod and in the above pic is preparing to fix the mechanism that holds the trigger down. --Sidewinder Forge 08:32, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
KARL URBAN'S SIG 226 SPORT
Though at first sight I had hoped for a custom comp'd 1911, I realized that he was holding a Sport. Again, I could be a little off, but take a look for yourself.

--Gwhysow 18:42, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
That it correct...it is a Sig 226 Sport or the 220 sport.--Spades of Columbia 19:02, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
I think I see double stack bulges in the grip making it the P226 Sport but I can't be sure.
- I dunno, I mean, yes it appears to have double stack bulges, but the bore diameter looks far too large to be 9mm, not to mention that his compensator is much longer than the one in the P226 Sport picture.--Pølaris 15:16, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
The pistol is a 220 sport, and not a 226, because of the features of the compensator and muzzle diameter.
- Saw this last night, definitely a P220 Sport, there are no bulges on the frame.--Pølaris 17:21, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
Helen Mirren's Sniper Rifle
Anyone know what it is? You see it briefly when she makes the "girl time" remark in one of the trailers. I think it may be something like a Mk12 or maybe an M4 with a sniper scope. --Charon68 23:02, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
You get a much better view of it in the newer trailer. I'd dump a screen-shot in but I'm at work and don't have access (damn you web marshall!). At a glance I thought it was either a modified M4 or an M16 SPR. But I could easily be well off the mark. Anyone (smarter than me) got a better clue? --bigchiefreefa 12:30 26 Juy 2010 (GMT)
- It's a standard M16A4 style HBAR flat top upper with a GemTech Suppressor, standard A2 handguards with a Harris Bipod mounted and a CAA Sharp Shooting Stock on the back end. (edit) BTW, I got one of these with a CAA stock. Just have to make sure all the other details are correct before I photograph the gun. :) MoviePropMaster2008 21:15, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
New Guns
I just saw an advanced free screening. I am going to add that there was an AKMS, an M240 with spade grips, a corner shot with a Glock (unknown model) and M68 Aimpoint, a regular P226 used by William Cooper's (Keith Urban) supervisor (movie name Cynthia), and either a p228 or p229 used by the secret service agents. Also am M26 Taser, and either an M21 or M14 on John Malkoviche's character's safe house (only saw the left side). It's late and I'm tired, just putting this up so I don't forget tomorrow.--Gunkatas 03:14, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
in one of the trailers I think I saw some one holding a corner shot.
Guns used to shoot up Frank Moses' house in Ohio
In the db, it was stated that maybe a PKM was used. I thought it looked like a M249 with the handguard removed. It definitely had a different bipod than on the PKM. The bipod looked like it was from a Barrett M82A.
It looks to feed from the right, and the M249 dosn't do that dos is? As far as I know, only Russian guns feed from the right.--Mandolin 22:30, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
The barrel alignment isn't right for a PKM. [It's either an RPD with no foresight or an M60 with no foresight or handgaurd-User:SargeOverkill
I think its an RPD. maybe?
It might also be the FN MAG in the weapons cache.
PKM? In the film, the machine gun feeds from the right and has the charging handle on the right side. --Ben41 23:35, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
I saw a pretty good still of the reciever of this weapon and it looks like a PKM reciever. It has that large drop forward of the ammo feed and what looks like rimmed cartridges and a skeleton buttstock and nondisintegrating belt feed.
It is a PKM machine gun modified with accessories from Blackheart International (http://www.bhigear.com). They purchased 2 accessory kits from us to modify PKM's. We did not get to see the final modifications they did to the PKM, but as you can see from the movie screenshot above, they cut off the fron sight.
- Thanks so much for that info! Really cool! -MT2008 02:26, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
.45 acp appeared to be a Para
When Moses goes into the Russian Embassy, he hands over his pistol to those left in car, it seemed to me to be a Para or Kimber, hard to tell but it did have a stamp of some large sort on Slide? just a thought? Notice Skeletonized Hammer for one. Ambi-Safety for 2.
Helen Mirren
I think it was on Entertainment Tonight, yes I watch it, that Mirren mentions the weapons training she had to go through in order to be allowed to handle loaded firearms. As a side note, one of my fav weapons related moments in this movie was when Malkovich reverently kisses an SMG and says "Swedish K, now that is exciting." --Charon68 16:52, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- I think the Carl Gustav M45 was a favorite with special forces in the 1960-1970s
Questionable sources
I'm removing this screencap from the actual page, since it looks like it was jacked from an illegal copy, most likely a bad cam version. This should also be removed from here later. We can't go around taking screencaps from dvdscreeners/cams/telesyncs(=crap) beacause if some studio boss sees this they're gonna be all over this page. You should wait for the BLU-Ray/DVD to be released. --Warejaws 18:40, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
The Colt MK IV Series 80 is not used by former CIA operative Frank Moses. He used Para 1911 GI Expert.
I'm sure for 100%.
- The only thing potentially disproving this is the the ambidextrous safety. The GI Expert lack that. Unless an armorer for the film claims he added an ambi safety for the piece, I'm not 100% sold. - Gunmaster45
Well, Bruce is a well known south paw so it could be likely that a good armorer would be prepared for this.--Spades of Columbia 22:14, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
How can it be that para when it clearly does not say GI Expert on the slide? Look at the last pic. Nothing on the slide.
- You can make out the stamp on the slide actually if you look closesly. - Gunmaster45
Joe Matheson's 1911
Joe Matheson's (Morgan Freeman) 1911 is listed as a GI Expert Para-Ordnance likes Frank's. I'm unsure if it is, but I found this pic on IMDb:
Unsure if it is a GI Expert or not, but I'm unsure of the make. - Gunmaster45
Reference
I have not seen the movie, so I don't know if it's already been said, but the screencap below reminds me of the incursion of the ESU in Leon.
Or am I wrong?--Charly Driver 13:37, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
the mook from red is falling backwords after being shot. the mook for Leon has he hands up because Leon took him hostage
coincidence since a lot of movies and shows tend to copy off of each other in terms of shots Excalibur01 04:21, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Milkor MGL?
In the "Hidden Cache of Weapons" part Charon68 mislaved a granade launcher as a Milkor MGL, I'm 103% sure is the same DefTech prop from The Incredible Hulk. Here, compare
