Special Ops Lionness is a Paramount+ original streaming series starring Zoe Saldana as Joe, an covert operative who recruits Cruz (Laysla De Oliveira), a young woman and US Marine Raider, into a secret CIA program codenamed "Lionness", in order to take down a terrorist organization from the inside. The series' cast includes Michael Kelly , Morgan Freeman and Nicole Kidman . The series, which premiered on the streaming service Paramount+ in July of 2023, was created by Taylor Sheridan and several episodes were directed by John Hillcoat .
