Vietcong

Vietcong (2003)

Vietcong is a tactical first-person shooter video game (Pterodon & Illusion Softworks). It was released in March 2003, and set during the Vietnam War. It is both single and multi user platform and is PC based.

The following list contains all the weapons that can be used in the original Vietcong and its expansion pack, Fist Alpha:

• Standard revolver of the Viet Cong; particularly prevalent in the tunnel levels

• Seen w/silencer aka ("Hush Puppy")

Chinese Type 54

• Direct Copy of the Tokarev TT-33

Submachine Guns

M3 Grease Gun

(Used by Viet Cong soldiers

Sten Mk. II

• Weapons comes Silenced; available in the Fist Alpha expansion

Rifles

M1 Carbine

• Used by both the Viet Cong and ARVN forces)

M1 Garand

• The scoped M1D variant is the standard American sniper rifle in the original game

M14 Rifle

• (Along with the M21, only available in the Fist Alpha expansion)

SVT-40

• (Available only in Fist Alpha expansion)

Browning M2

• (Mounted on the M151 Jeep, UH-1 Huey and at bunkers)
