The Hitcher is the 2007 remake of the 1986 movie of the same name. Like the first film, the remake features a traveling couple (Sophia Bush and Zachary Knighton) who pick up a hitchiker (Sean Bean) on the road with horrific results.

A Beretta 92FS is taken by Jim Halsey (Zachary Knighton) from an Officer Edwards (Danny Bolero) when he was about to draw it from his holster. And Jim uses it in a few scenes in the film. Other sheriffs and a few police officers use it throughout the film.

Glock 17

Police Officers draw their Glock 17s on Grace Andrews (Sophia Bush), demanding she drops her weapon when she's in the 18 wheeler threatening to kill John Ryder (Sean Bean) if he doesn't let go of Jim (Zachary Knighton) who is tied up between the truck and the carriage. John Ryder also uses one at the film's climax.

Grace Andrews (Sophia Bush) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 686 throughout the movie. At first this revolver can be seen in Deputy Harlan Bremmer Jr.'s hands. Jim Halsey also used this revolver.

Colt AR-15 Carbine

What appears to be a AR-15 Carbine with a scope is used by John Ryder (Sean Bean) in a sniping/chase sequence. A sheriff can be seen also using one while hanging out the window of one of the police cruisers firing at Grace and Jim as they are driving away resisting arrest.
