Sylvester Stallone stars in the film as Ray Breslin, a structural engineer who earns a living breaking out of prisons and then finds himself in a new high-tech prison without any means to contact the outside. Arnold Schwarzenegger co-stars in the film as a fellow convict who assists Breslin in a plan to break out. The film's cast includes Jim Caviezel, 50 Cent, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Vinnie Jones.
The following weapons were used in the film Escape Plan:
An FN M249 SAW is seen mounted on a helicopter that flies to the tanker. The machine gun is first seen fitted with a brass catcher. Swan Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) also uses the SAW in the film.
