Contagion is a game produced by Monochrome Games that is the spiritual successor to Zombie Panic! Source. The game was distributed via Steam and Desura on October 25th, 2013.
The following weapons appear in the video game Contagion:
The M1911A1 has a 7-round magazine and comes equipped with a flashlight. Somewhat curiously, the ammunition boxes are marked .357 Magnum. The game developers have indicated that this will likely change in a future update as it has caused confusion among players.
An update released on December 12th, 2013 included a new weapon labeled simply the Revolver. The game developers indicated that it is similar to that found in Zombie Panic: Source. Its reloaded by two half-moon clips and does not feature a flashlight.
The Mossberg 590 is one of two shotguns in the game. It is a pump-action with a 6-round magazine capacity, ghost ring sights and has a flashlight attachment.
The over-under shotgun can be fired singly or both barrels in very rapid succession if the fire button is held down. It has a two round capacity and does not feature a flashlight.
Unlike the real life KG9 that was an open-bolt semi-automatic, the KG9 in Contagion fires on full-auto. It features a 30-round magazine and it does not have a flashlight attachment. The KG9 is significantly less accurate than the MP5K.
While labeled an AR-15 Carbine, the weapon actually fires in the fully-automatic mode, with no option to select semi-automatic. It features a 30-round magazine and a flashlight.
The AKS-74U, labeled "AK74u" in-game, is fully-automatic and has a 38-round (or a downloaded 40-round) magazine. It does not have a flashlight attachment.
