Almost Human is a 2013 science fiction television series executive-produced by J.J. Abrams. Set in 2048, the series follows LAPD detective John Kennex (Karl Urban), who has developed strong hatred for robots after losing his partner and being left for dead in an ambush by an LAPD combat-android. Per the LAPD's requirements that all human officers are required to have a synthetic partner, Kennex is paired up with an older model android DRN, or Dorian (Michael Ealy), that is capable of human emotions and feelings.
The following weapons appear in the series Almost Human:
Starting in "Skin" (S01E02), LAPD detective John Kennex (Karl Urban) carries as his sidearm a Taurus PT99 dressed up in a futuristic shell (known as "Timecop Beretta"). Reinhardt (Tim Kelleher) also uses a dressed up Taurus PT99 during the pilot episode (S01E01). As the name suggests, the "Timecop Beretta" was originally built up for the 1994 sci-fi film Timecop. The pistols on the series appear to have been modified slightly to have a more open-ended front than the ones seen in such previously Canadian-produced sci-fi series as Stargate: Atlantis and Sliders.
Zoraki 925
LAPD Detective John Kennex (Karl Urban) and android Dorian (Michael Ealy), and Detective Richard Paul (Michael Irby) carry slightly customized Zoraki 925s fitted with laser sights as their sidearms in the series, altough Kennex switches to the dressed up Taurus PT99 in "Skin" (S01E02). The Zoraki is the primary firearm for the LAPD in the series, and is used by several officers in the series. LAPD Captain Alexio Barros (Benito Martinez) uses a Zoraki 925 in "The Bends" (S01E04). Det. Kennex also uses Barros' Zoraki after a scuffle in the same episode.
Some of Reinhardt's InSyndicate men use Calico M950 pistols during the pilot episode (S01E01).
Glock 17 in APS Carbine stock
Reinhardt (Tim Kelleher) and some of the InSyndicate terrorists use a Glock 17 fitted into a carbine stock system during the pilot. On the surface it resembles a CAA Tactical RONI-G1 stock, however it is actually a modified APS Carbine stock which is a copy of the RON-G1 intended for Airsoft pistols. The weapon is also fitted with a small jar-like device on the forearm, and the weapon shoots plastic webs that can cover a person's face.
Vektor CP1
One of Reinhardt's InSyndicate henchmen uses a Vektor CP1 during the pilot episode (S01E01).
Beretta 92FS
Several LAPD officers use the Beretta 92FS as their main sidearm in the season. A Beretta 92FS is also seen on stairs inside a bank in "Are You Receiving?" (S01E03).
Lucas Vincent (Damon Herriman), the leader of the Holy Reclamation Army terrorists and his 2nd-in-command are armed with Walther P99ASs in "Are You Receiving?" (S1E03).
Jericho 941R
An LAPD SWAT officer has a holstered Jericho 941R in "Are You Receiving?" (S01E03).
FN Five-seveN
One of The Bishop's men, Efren Cruz, uses an FN Five-seveN in in "The Bends" (S01E04).
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 610
Gavin Maxwell, aka The Bishop uses a dressed up Smith & Wesson Model 610 in "The Bends" (S01E04). The revolver was originally made for the film Blade: Trinity, and has appeared in other Vancouver based productions, such as Smallville and Eureka.
Submachine Guns
FN P90
LAPD MX combat androids and LAPD officers use FN P90 submachine guns fitted with extended threaded barrel suppressors, extended forward rail systems with tactical laser-pointers, and Magpul AFG grips throughout the series. The futuristic customization seems to have been inspired by a popular airsoft "Predator" SKU P90 airsfot gun. LAPD Detective Richard Paul (Michael Irby) picks up, and uses a P90 during a shootout in the pilot episode.
Jian She Type-05
A couple of InSyndicate terrorists use Jian She Type-05 submachine guns in the pilot episode (S01E01).
"M1-L1 Triple-Pulse Rifle"
The Holy Reclamation Army terrorist named Gregor (Max Boateng) is armed with a highly modified Calico M955A in "Are You Receiving?" (S01E03). The prop is actually the "M1-L1 Triple-Pulse Rifle" originally made for Deep Rising, although now it is fitted with an EOTech sight.
Kimel AP-9
A picture of a Satin Nickel Kimel AP-9 is seen in an evidence photo in "Blood Brothers" (S01E05).
Assault Rifles & Carbines
Norinco QBZ-97B
Several InSyndicate terrorists use Norinco QBZ-97B assault rifles with picatinny railings on the carry handle during the pilot episode (S01E01).
Heckler & Koch G36K
Several Holy Reclamation Army terrorists are armed with Heckler & Koch G36Ks with picatinny railings attached in "Are You Receiving?" (S1E03).
IWI Tavor TAR-21
Several Holy Reclamation Army terrorists are armed with IWI Tavor TAR-21s with flat tops on in "Are You Receiving?" (S01E03). Detective John Kennex (Karl Urban) also uses one near the end of the episode.
Detective John Kennex (Karl Urban) uses a generation 2 UTAS UTS-15 shotgun with a laser sight in the beginning of the pilot episode. Some LAPD MX combat androids and LAPD officers use the UTAS UTS-15 as well. The UTS-15 seems to be the primary shotgun for the LAPD in the series. An LAPD SWAT officer is also seen with a UTS-15 in "Are You Receiving?" (S01E03).
Franchi SPAS-12
A gunman uses a SPAS-12 in "Blood Brother" (S01E06).
Sniper Rifles
