Resident Evil 6 (known as Biohazard 6 in Japan) is the upcoming sixth installment in the Resident Evil video game series. This game will feature Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Jake Muller and various new characters.
The following weapons were used in the video game Resident Evil 6:
WARNING: MINOR SPOILER
Pistols
Heckler & Koch VP70 ("Wing Shooter")
Leon will regain his Heckler & Koch VP70 from Resident Evil 2 as his primary sidearm, instead of the Silver Ghost from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Degeneration. Called the "Wing Shooter". Leon is capable of dual-wielding this pistol which when using it during quick shot, Leon will alternate firing each weapon left and right. He carries the second pistol at the start of his campaign and can be toggled on the fly. Has an 18 round magazine.
IMI Desert Eagle Mark XIX ("Lightning Hawk")
Returning yet again as the "Lightning Hawk". Appears in Chapter 4 of Leon's campaign in the cockpit of the plane. Holds 7 rounds.
Steyr M9-A1 ("Picador")
Helena's primary sidearm appears to be a Steyr M9. Named "Picador" in-game and holds 16 rounds in the magazine.
Browning Hi-Power ("Nine-Oh-Nine")
Main sidearm of both Chris and Jake is the Browning Hi-Power. It's called "Nine-Oh-Nine" in-game. Has the Browning 15 round magazine.
SIG P220 SL Sport ("Triple Shot")
Sherry's primary sidearm appears to be a modified SIG-Sauer P220 SL Sport. It has a red dot sight on the slide and a fictional select-fire mode, allowing the player to alternate between single shots and three-round bursts. Named the "Triple Shot" in-game.
Smith & Wesson Model 500 ("Elephant Killer")
The Smith & Wesson Model 500 returns again. It's called "Elephant Killer" in-game.
Sub-machine Guns
H&K UMP9 ("MP-AF")
Piers Nivans, a BSAA member of the North American Branch, carries a Heckler & Koch UMP9 with extended side rails and an upper rail. In-game designation is "MP-AF" which stands for "Machine Pistol-Accurate Fire". Fire mode can be toggled between single shot and full auto. Holds 30 rounds and uses 9mm rounds.
Ruger MP9 ("Ammo Box 50")
Some enemies are armed with MP9s. Ada Wong carries this weapon in her campaign. It holds 50 rounds. Called the "Ammo Box 50" in game. Much like in Resident Evil 4, Ada will hold this weapon from the hip.
Shotguns
FN Tactical Police ("Assault Shotgun")
The FN Tactical Police Shotgun is seen being carried by Chris, Piers and Ada. Holds seven rounds and fires only in semi auto, however when the player reloads the gun, the character will cock the shotgun as if it were a pump action.
Sawn-off Shotgun ("Hydra")
The fictional, triple-barreled Hydra shotgun from Resident Evil 5 makes a return. Helena carries this weapon at the start of Leon's campaign. However, it doesn't fire 12 gauge rounds like the regular shotgun or assault shotgun, but rather, specialized 10 gauge rounds that are hard to find. When firing quick shots, Helena will dodge acrobatically in the direction of her target, allowing her to both obliterate the target if close enough and dodging other enemy attacks.
Remington M870 ("Shotgun")
A pump-action shotgun that resembles the Remington 870 makes an appearance with pistol grip, wooden pump, a heat shield/rails combo and red-dot sight. [Really not sure on the model]
Assault Rifles
FN FAL ("Bear Commander")
A composite rifle that comes with an M320 grenade launcher as standard armament. The rifle seems to resemble the DSA SA58 Para Tactical Carbine (with some visual modifications), which is a variant of the FN FAL. Unlike the "Grenade Launcher", this weapon can only use the HE grenade.
Composite Assault Rifle ("Assault Rifle for Special Tactics")
Most BSAA members wield this rifle. It is smilar to an ACR, However the it has a carry handle and charrging handle similar to the FAMAS. The weapon has on its right side an ANPEQ15 laser sight and a 30 round magazine. The game states it is chambered in 5.56mm.
AK-12 ("Assault Rifle RN")
The AK-12 appears as another usable assault rifle. Outfitted with a bayonet and Magpul-type telescoping stock. Listed in-game as the "Assault Rifle RN"
Sniper Rifles
SIG-Sauer SSG 3000 ("Sniper Rifle")
Piers Nivans's picture has him armed theSIG-Sauer SSG 3000 fitted with a Wild Dog Tactical Stock.
Mechem NTW-20 ("Anti-Matériel Rifle")
In another section of the game, Piers aims with another sniper rifle to cover Jake that appears to be a Mechem NTW-20. Called the "Anti-Matériel Rifle ". The player can alternate between a standard scope and a thermal scope on the fly. In-game is chambered for 12.7mm (.50 BMG). Holds 10 rounds, 7 more rounds than the real life version.
Mk 14 Enhanced Battle Rifle ("Semi Automatic Sniper Rifle")
A sniper rifle that appears to be based off of the Mk 14 Mod 0/1 Enhanced Battle Rifle is seen being used by Sherry. It holds five rounds and fires in semi automatic.
Light Machine Guns
Hybrid Machine Gun
The fictional hybrid machine gun from Resident Evil 5 reappears again and is seen being carried by some J'avo zombies. The entire rear section of the weapon appears to be a FN M249 SAW as evident from the club foot stock (which in this case it's made out of wood), general receiver layout, and the gas regulator knob under the barrel. However the front section has a RPD style fore grip, and a PKM style carry handle and front sight. Similar to Resident Evil 5, this weapon is only used during the car chase sequence in Chris's campaign.
Grenade Launchers
RPG-7
The RPG-7 appears in-game being used by some J'avo zombies. Leon uses one at the end of his campaign. Chris uses one in The Mercenaries game with his alternate costume.
Heckler & Koch M320
Sherry "Bear Commander" assault rifle is seen with a Heckler & Koch M320 grenade launcher attached underneath the barrel without the pistol grip.
ARWEN 37 ("Grenade Launcher")
The ARWEN 37 makes an appearance in the game as being usable by Chris or Piers. Fires three different kinds of ammunition: Explosive, Acid and Nitrogen. It holds six 40mm rounds.
Machine Guns
GAU-19?
The GAU-19 hybrid that was seen in Resident Evil 5 makes it's return appearance. Two are mounted on the back of BSAA Hummvee in Chapter 5 of Leon's campaign. Chris can use one in Chapter 2 of his campaign to fend off a large B.O.W. Two are mounted on the rear door of the BSAA Chinook in Jake's campaign in Chapter 1. Ustanak, the creature that pursues Jake and Sherry throughout the campaign, at one point has three of these weapons mounted on a platform that connects to his right arm. As in Resident Evil 5, all of these turrets have unlimited ammo but will overheat from continous fire.
