The Heckler & Koch USP (Universelle Selbstladepistole, or "Universal Self-loading Pistol") was first introduced in 1993 and is still currently manufactured. It is offered in several calibers - .40 S&W, .45 acp and 9mm. The compact version is also offered in .357 sig.
