I'm younger than your typical gun nut. Being 15, it is hard to be accepted by older people as a viable source of gun information. I try my hardest to prove them wrong. I really hope no one on this site rolls their eyes after reading that I'm 15. I'm really a lot more knowledgeable on guns than pretty much any kid I know. And most adults. I've had major experience with firearms, being in a gunsmithing business with my father. It's a small business, but it is also a small New York town. I've been called a redneck before, and I hate it. Liking guns is not a good enough reason for someone to typecast you as one. I'm not a redneck, just a gun nut. I've come a long way in five years of extremely devoted studying from my father, books, the internet, and hands on experience. I've come a long way for someone with such little money too. I've shot around maybe 100 or so firearms, and learned and studied hundreds more. Most of them I can strip and clean by memory. Having my own place to shoot at home helps. Although I've been to a range more than a few times. I envy people like MoviePropMaster2008 for being able to work with movie guns. I wish I could be a movie armorer. Although my main passion is film direction. My dream is to juggle both one day. The chance of this happening is extremely rare but, hey, a guy can dream, can't he?
I'm 15, I'm a gun-nut, and I am keeping this description short and sweet so I don't have to keep editing it with time. I work in a gunshop with my father and dislike being looked down on because of my young age. I make mistakes like everyone else and am glad I have people like [[User:MT2008|MT2008]] to correct them. I wish to be a film director when I'm older or a film armorer and my dream is to do both. My knowledge is vast from 19th century to modern weaponry, which is why I sometimes cannot remember every single fact like those who focus mainly on modern weaponry sometimes, because I know both, though I do pretty well. My DVD collection is vast (and I buy new ones every day, some which I already have on VHS, ''just'' to screencap them), and my to-do list is sky-high. My one factor is school, though I try to push some small movies out over the week. The weekend is my best time though it is also my free time, so I won't do one every single weekend. When summer vacation begins, I go back to almost every day work. I'm a Browning enthusiast and am a huge fan of just about every gun he ever made, mainly the M1911A1 pistol. The Browning company today has faithfully produced ingenius designs that Browning would be proud to have in his name today. My personal favorite is the Browning A-Bolt shotgun, which is now sadly discontinued. I am faithful to the site and want nothing more than a simple "good job" when I make a page, I like making friends and love good conversations. Feel free to message me whenever something is needed or needs asking of, I'm good for it.
P.S. My user name is not an meant to be self righteous, I just couldn't think of anything better on IMdB, and the name stuck.

*Colt M1911A1 .45 ACP: I consider it the greatest handgun ever made and the grandfather of modern handguns, yet it is still good enough to serve right next to those guns today.
*Colt M1911A1 - .45 ACP

*M1 Garand .30-06: A fine rifle with many devotions to modern rifles today. It is accurate and extremly fun to shoot. Could be a little lighter though. Mine served in both WWII and Korea(has WWII marking and Korea markings, along with Korea era sling)
*M1 Garand - .30-06

*M4A1/AR-15 A3 Carbine 5.56x45mm: Having fired both the full-auto and the civilian semi-auto, I've come to like the M4A1 style carbine rifles. I find them accurate and reliable. Wish I owned one personally though. My only trigger time with them is someone else's on a range.
*M4A1/AR-15 A3 Carbine - 5.56x45mm

*Norinco YL-1887L "Winchester 1887" 10/12 gauge: The gun from T2 is my dream gun to own.
*SIG-Sauer P226 - 9mm

*SIG-Sauer P226 9mm: A fine handgun of today. "Hell and back reliability" is a fine slogan for the company, indeed.
*Glock 17 - 9mm

*Glock 17 9mm: I've heard a lot of people say a Glock is a crappy plastic gun, which is not true at all. It is a reliable, light, easy-fitting handgun, easier to disassemble than a 1911(but not to say it is a better gun). Mine is a first generation with ugly target sights and two 17 round mags. I like it a lot.
*Smith and Wesson Model 14-3 - .38 special

*Smith and Wesson Model 14-3 .38 special: A beautiful target .38 revolver. Smooth, crisp, and accurate.
*Smith and Wesson Model 29 - .44 Magnum

*Smith and Wesson Model 29 .44 Remington Magnum: Come on, it's Dirty Harry's gun, how could you NOT love it? Hard on the hand but nice indeed.
*Ruger Super Redhawk - .44 Magnum

*Ruger Super Redhawk .44 Remington Magnum: Heavy but accurate and fun. With a scope, you can down deer with this baby.
*Browning A-5 - 12/16/20 gauge

*Browning A-5 12/16/20 gauge: One of the finest auto-loading shotguns ever made by the greatest gunmaker ever to live.
*Browning A-bolt - 12 gauge

*Browning A-bolt 12 gauge: Light, powerful and quite possibley the most accuarte shotgun ever made, I use this for deer hunting, as does my father(him more of course, it beeing his gun).
*Winchester Model 1892 - .38-40

*Winchester Model 1892 .38-40: The smoothest medium caliber lever gun I've ever shot. Light and accurate too.
*Winchester 1894M - .22 Magnum Trapper

*Winchester 1894M .22 Magnum Trapper: A gift from my grandfather. A great small game gun. This gun is no longer in production. Smoothest small caliber I've ever shot.
*Savage Anschutz - .22 magnum

*Savage Anschutz .22 magnum: My current small game rifle. Accurate and reliable. A great rifle.

==My contribution to IMFDB==
I read that someone said this site is "An innacurate source filled with a bunch of dumb kids adding wrong information." I take that to heart and whenever I see wrong info, I do my best to correct it properly. Only recently learning how to upload pictures on this site, I've just gotten the hang of using the proper site format, so if someone does a half-ass job of putting a page together, I at least put it in proper format. I devote mind-bending hours of time adding pictures, taking screencaps, and making pages with no real reward but my own satisfaction to know people will be better informed. I hope no one thinks I'm trying to be cocky, I'm the complete opposite. I'd love to get to know the main editors of this sight better and possibley be accepted as one as well. I have a method of getting movie screencaps off DVDs but I first need to upload a photo editor to convert them from being BMPs to JPGs. I have a massive movie collection, many of which are on this site, and will definately add more screencaps once I have this photo editor. I upload pictures a lot. Someone even told me to cut it down a but, so now I try my hardest to check and see whether or not this picture is on the site or not before uploading. I hope to possibley make some friends, learn new things, and possibly let others learn new things too.
P.S. My user name is not an meant to be self righteous, I just couldn't think of anything better on IMdB, and the name stuck.

==Final Note==
I'm happy to be a part of this website and hope I can be accepted like any other user, and not be looked down on because of my age. Just think, most people wouldn't be honest enough to admit their age. I try to make it a point that age doesn't restrict knowledge from entering a younger person's mind. Please don't see some "dumb kid" adding information, but another gun nut just like the rest of you. I'd love to learn anything new from the rest of the site users willing to inform me on new things. If I screw up, write it on the discussion page. Please, be kind and civil, and I shall do the same. If anyone has any questions from me(which is somewhat uncommon), ask me on that page as well.

Pages Built

A list of pages I've contributed to.

  • Hard Boiled: I helped MT2008 recap the page as a favor, and added anything new, majorly helping turn that page into the largest on the site so far.
  • XXX: Added screencaps to the page.
  • Iron Man (2008): Screencapped about 3/4ths of the page. MPM2008 did the rest.
  • Eraser: Screencapped the page.
  • Flashpoint: So far uploaded every gun and almost every single picture on there(all screenshots are my work up to the Beretta with a few exceptions)
  • Glock page: Made sure to upload every Glock picture and description to help everyone out. Glocks are used so much, there is no room for missing information.
  • Heat: I added some guns and screencaps. Mine have a black bar to the left side of the picture.
  • The Rock: Screencapped and built the page.
  • Holes: Screencapped and built the page.
