There is a hell of alot of things that piss me off to no end (Hey, what doesn't piss you off in this life?), but if I really had to pick something that really irks me, it would have to be the politically correct standard of life that we are all living right now, and how the constant battle of gun rights is being overshadowed by the anti-gunning, draconian law-writing Liberals who are constantly stepping on and attempting to completely trample our Second Amendment rights on a daily basis.

Another thing I cannot stand is the corruption within ''some'' of the government-run departments who are supposed to "enforce" the so-called law, and how instead of upholding the meaning of "to protect and serve" they insist on shoving it down upon the citizens of this country with an iron fist. Another thing would have to be the corruption within this broken, impartial justice system that we Americans have. It's amazing how the guilty get off easy while the innocent have to pay the price for something they didn't do, eh? But oh well, it's only a matter of time before the citizens decide that they are gonna stop being pushed around like the little wusses that they are, and rise up in arms to put down this bullshit. And you know what? It is granted in the documents that founded this nation that if the government becomes too powerful, we the citizens have every right to rise up in open rebellion. It's like that old phrase says; You push a group of people too far, you risk digging your own grave...
Political Views: "A well-regulated Milita, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the People to keep and bear firearms shall NOT be infringed."... so that means if and when the day comes that you want to take away my guns, you will have to pry them from my cold, dead fingers first.
Who am I?
Well, well, well... you found my IMFDB user page... I guess to start this description off, my name is Josh, and I hail from the hot and sunny state of California. Yeah, yeah, I know... One of the most pro-liberal states in the union that is the capital of the entertainment industry, wrought with crazy wildfires, shit weather, restrictive gun laws, ridden with anti-gun politicians, sparkling yet trashy beaches, is shamed to have a city that has the largest homeless population in the U.S., and will supposedly fall into the ocean and join Hawaii in 2012...
Ok, now that I got those god-awful jokes out of my system, I guess I will tell you more about myself...
I am your average-joe Southern California resident who happens to be a gun-lover. I first discovered this site in the summer of 2009 when I was searching for what kind of handgun the Joker used in the film The Dark Knight, and after a time of some anonymous editing of a few pages and picture captions, I decided to create an account here on IMFDB for the hell of it. I enjoy this site and I think it has one of the best insights as to what kinds of firearms were used in movies.
I currently do not own any firearms, but I have handled and fired several different firearms throughout most of my life (from simple hunting rifles to modern handguns). I am also an airsofter and I currently own 6 airsoft firearms; a shotgun and 5 pistols, which are described in more details at the bottom of this page from the images that I have uploaded of them.
I also come from a line of family members who have served in the United States Military as Paratroopers, Marines, and Army Medics in some of the most well-known conflicts in human history that the United States has been involved in (Such as World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War), and I am proud of their service and devotion to their duty.
I guess the only things left for me to say is that most of the time, I am a fun-loving guy and I don't mind making new friends or having friendly discussions or debates about guns or movies. I will stick around this site for a bit and help out on the articles that need work where it is needed (But I am sorry to say that I will not be able to provide any screencaps for pages that need fixing or need to be built. I just don't have the necessary program to do this. Sorry). Other than that, feel free to hit me up on any questions or discussions that you guys want to have with me.

Batman: Gotham Knight - The page looked very good, I commend whoever got the good screenshots from the film, the only thing it was lacking was some picture captions that were relevant to the film, so I took the liberty to add some back when I was an anonymous editor.
The Boondocks - I took the liberty to add some additional captions to the page's images.
Hot Fuzz - I added some picture captions to that page back when I was an anonymous editor. Although they have probably been removed by now if people think I was 'insulting' the actors with my picture captions. Which I wasn't to begin with... oh well...
Friday - The picture captions were kind of half-assed and they did not give a thorough description, especially on two pictures that were about 2 firearms that were shown to appear in the movie. So I took the liberty to fix up the picture captions. And thanks to User:Predator20 for adding in a movie poster!
High School of the Dead - There were a few lacking pictures in the firearms descriptions, and I decided to edit some of the picture captions so that they would be relevant to the images.
Zombies of Mass Destruction - I worked on putting captions for the images on that page. Whoever created the page, I commend you. But could you have done a better job on the screencaps?

Battle: Los Angeles - Fixed a few sloppy looking areas on the page, and added a notice letting first-time viewers know that all the images on the page are screencaps from the film's first trailer unless otherwise noted.
Zombieland - I took the liberty to fix up the page a little bit.
Atlantis: The Lost Empire - Fixed up some of the images because they misrepresented the order of events that took place in the film, and I fixed a few of the picture captions.
Wow... that is a really tough question to ask me. Hell, this is a tough question to ask of anyone. But if I really had to pick, then I would say that my interests generally gear towards the intellectual, action-packed, apocalypse and post-apocalypse themed, historical and non-historical themed, bloody, sci-fi, monster mashing, cult hits, good story deliveries, and the odd and rare ones. And I like a few comedy flicks here and there, but NOT the ones that push the R rating as far as it can possibly go to the point where it is no longer funny.
Again, another really tough question to ask from me. But to simplify this answer, I generally like actors who are not the typical anti-gun extremist liberals like so many other actors in Hollywood are. But that they are cool and relaxed about the usage and ownership of firearms, and don't give a crap about what people think about their beliefs.

Least favorite firearms

The M16 is such a piece of crap that can break under extreme stress such as rough, weathered, watery combat scenarios. It's been proven in Vietnam, and it is still proven to this day with the M4 Carbine. In fact, go to this link here [1] and you will see how hard the M4 fails in comparison to an HK416 in watery conditions. But to give the M16 the benefit of the doubt, I will say this; if I were to find myself in a combat scenario where I am fighting on city streets, THEN I would reach for the M16. But as far as fighting in the rough weathered elements? I would choose a rifle that wont get fouled easilyError creating thumbnail: File missingGlock pistols - Now this one will get me another ton of hate mail... but seriously folks, Glock pistols are OVERRATED. All this false advertising that the company does about their guns never breaking, never jamming, and never going under stress in combat scenarios... it's all a load of crap. And now Glock has hammered the final nail in the coffin for the respect that alot of people once had for them when they went around suing airsoft companies for making airsoft versions of their firearmsError creating thumbnail: File missingXM8 - This gun is just way too ugly and unappealing to me. And if the plastic shell of this rifle is known to melt after such intensive fire, causing the rifle to malfunction, you would be screwed in a combat scenario because your weapon would be useless! Seriously, give me an FN SCAR or a H&K 416 over this laughable "battle rifle of the future".Heckler & Koch XM29 Objective Individual Combat Weapon - Ugh... yet ANOTHER ugly and unappealing looking rifle that passes off as the laughable "battle rifle of the future". Not to mention, the Desert Eagle itself is a pretty heavy handgun, and lugging it through a combat scenario could cause the user to get tired after awhile. And another thing, WHAT IS THE POINT OF A GOLD PLATED DESERT EAGLE? And besides, isn't it kind of unfair for the British Troops on the frontlines who have to submit one of their only standard issue assault rifles back to the manufacturer because of it's faults?Error creating thumbnail: File missingM60 - You know, very much like the M16 rifle, THIS machine gun went through the same problems that the M16 did in Vietnam, the wet conditions, the muddy rice paddies, the dirty jungle environment, etc., and it DID NOT succeed in those departments. The M60 is a heavy, clunky, shitty piece of crap that will, if it does not jam on you, explode in your face by the rough conditions of a weathered combat scenario. No wonder why they called it "The Pig". Because it was a clunky, heavy, piece of shit.Error creating thumbnail: File missingGE M134 Minigun - Eh... while this machine gun may look badass, I am personally turned off by the fact that the thing runs on batteries to make the barrels spin. Because once again, if you are in a situation where an EMP blast has occurred, this gun would be out of action! Unless it is EMP-shock protected somehow, but what electronically powered guns are EMP-shock protected? The answer is VERY few. I think I will stick with the Browning M2.

My airsoft guns
My airsoft guns are modeled after the following real-world firearms:
Colt M1911A1
Error creating thumbnail: File missingMy Colt M1911A1 'YT385' airsoft pistol. This one is my personal favorite out of my current airsoft armory, since it perfectly mimics the layout of the original M1911A1 that was manufactured from 1924 onwards to the present day. However, there are no company logos or a serial number on the slide of this pistol like what the original M1911A1 has. I will soon replace the orange barrel with a metal one and black out the 'Made in China' logo. This gun is manufactured by a company called Yu Teng.Error creating thumbnail: File missingThe left side of my Colt M1911A1 'YT385' airsoft pistol. You can see that it is an almost-perfect replication of the original Colt M1911A1, everything from the grip safety, thumb safety, the 'S' and 'F' abbreviations for 'Safe' and 'Fire' on the thumb safety, and the 'G.H.D.' abbreviation below the slide lock when the pistol's slide locks back after it's magazine has been exhausted. Like I said before, this airsoft pistol is my personal favorite out of all my other guns in my airsoft armory, and I will carry this into ANY airsoft game I play.
Mauser C96/CM 712

This one, like my Colt M1911A1, is made out of an all-metal construction, and yes, the 'broomhandle' grip is made of ACTUAL WOOD. I thought it was plastic when I first opened the box, but to my surprise, the grips are made out of actual wood. Or rather, synthetic wood that perfectly resembles real wood. I took the orange plug off the end of the barrel for display purposes when I took this photo. This gun is manufactured by UK Arms.
AMT Hardballer Longslide 9mm Hybrid
Error creating thumbnail: File missingMy AMT Hardballer airsoft pistol, it is modeled after the Longslide version of the M1911. However, unlike the last 2 airsoft pistols, this one is an all-plastic construction, nothing really fancy about it, but surprisingly, it has lasted me for 3 years when I bought it back in 2008. Despite all the wear and tear on the gun I might have caused to it, it still functions properly. One odd thing about this airsoft gun, is that there are trademarks on the side that claims it's a Longslide model chambered in 9x19mm... but the real-life AMT Hardballer Longslides are not chambered in 9mm... are they? But don't ask me about the name of the company that made this pistol, because the box it came in did not describe a company name at all.
Walther PPK/S
Error creating thumbnail: File missingMy Walther PPK/S airsoft gun. This one, unlike the previous 3, is a CO2 gas-powered version that is manufactured by Umarex USA, and it's a very good airsoft pistol. It has an all metal construction with the exception of the grips and the magazine, and it fires METAL bbs instead of hard plastic ones. I just wish that Umarex didn't have to add that unnecessary twisting wrench built into the gun to tighten the CO2 canisters when you gas up this gun. Because it just makes it look a little bit too ugly. But in any case, this is a good airsoft handgun. But I would suggest getting a different Walther PPK pistol instead of this one if you don't want that ugly twisting wrench on the bottom.

It is a simple gas-powered pistol that is made of sturdy abs plastic, and the magazine is all metal. This airsoft pistol is manufactured by KWC (You can see the KWC logo on the accessory rail on the bottom), and licensed by CyberGun. Both companies have made superior and high-quality airsoft firearms over the years, and I tip my hat to them for going out of their way to make such good firearms. This airsoft gun is another one of my personal favorites, and it is my backup sidearm in any airsoft game that I play.Error creating thumbnail: File missingThe left side of my Smith & Wesson MP airsoft pistol. You can see that this pistol comes with the accessory rail on the bottom of the barrel of the handgun, and the trademarks on the front of the barrel that shows how this airsoft gun almost perfectly mimics the .40 caliber version of the S&W MP pistol, the S&W logo and where their manufacturing plant is located underneath the ejector port, and the "S&W Military & Police" logo is seen right before the slide ridges, and on the grips of the pistol. Pretty neat huh?
Mossberg 500/590

This is one of the many airsoft shotguns that does not rely on using shells for the bb's, but rather, relies on loading up the bbs through a small opening on the top of the shotgun (which saves players alot of trouble in trying to go around the battlefield trying to locate all the shells for their airsoft shotgun). And very much like my AMT M1911, this gun has lasted me for nearly 3 years when I bought it back in 2008. But very much like my other favorite M1911, I cannot tell you the name of the manufacturer of this shotgun, the box and the instruction manual didn't even name a company at all, all it gave be was a bunch of Asian gibberish that I could not understand.
