Rules of Engagement (2000)


Rules of Engagement is a 2000 war drama directed by William Friedkin (The French Connection) and starring Samuel L. Jackson as U.S Marine Colonel Terry Childers, who finds himself facing a court-martial after ordering his troops to open fire on a crowd of civilian protesters in Sana'a, Yemen. Tommy Lee Jones co-stars as Hayes Hodges, a retired Marine Colonel and friend of Childers who must defend him in court.
