The Benelli M3 Super 90 appears in FA:S with a two tone colour combination of a Tan barrel and receiver with a black synthetic pistol gripped stock and synthetic fore-grip as well a side saddle shell holder. It is correctly depicted as a semi-automatic shotgun and holds 8 shells of 12 gauge 00 Buckshot. Due to the tightness of the spread of shot, it is likely that the M3 was fitted with a choke to improve the spread and make it a functional combat shotgun.

The Remington 870 was added in the 1.0e patch. The model was based off of a Marine Magnum variant of the shotgun but it features the blued finish and wooden stock and fore-grip of the Police Magnum variant. The size of the spread indicates that the weapon may use an open choke.

Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
Firearms: Source is a Source modification of Half-Life 2 and a direct sequel to the GoldSrc version of Half-Life. Firearms, hence the name, stars two teams fighting each other with a vast array of fire-power, with new weapons being added in subsequent updates.
Pistol
Colt M1911A1
An original run Colt 1911A1 pistol with wooden grips was featured as the cheapest handgun in FA: Source. It's the only .45 caliber handgun in the mod for the moment and packs a punch despite its cheap cost.
Glock 20
The Glock 20 was featured in FA:S as one of the "middle-of-the-road" handguns costing at 10 credits. It was a 10mm Auto handgun, with a magazine of 15+1 rounds.
Beretta 92FS
Set to be another of the "middle-of-the-road" handguns at 10 credits. Besides caliber, the 92FS was made to be more accurate compared to the Glock 20 when fired rapidly, however it is still rather weak against most opponents.
SIG P226
This was the most requested gun in a poll of guns to be added to the 1.1 patch of FA:S. While also chambered in the 9x19mm Parabellum, the Model designer also mentioned that the likely calibres to be featured in-game were either .40 S&W or .357 SIG. It is currently in Work in Progress stages.
OTs-33 "Pernach"
Featured as the designated Machine Pistol in FA:S, the OTs-33 is fully automatic and fires the Russian 9x18mm round in 18 round magazines. It is a favorite of snipers who wish to have an automatic weapon without sacrificing too much on credits.
Beretta 93R
Although the Beretta 93R was slated for release in the 1.1 patch, based on poll results, it was not released for the 1.1 Update. It was still in the Work in Progress stage at the time it was shown and was going to be added as the burst fire Machine Pistol. It used the more powerful 9x19mm round over the "Pernachs" 9x18mm round with a larger 20 round magazine.
Raging Bull
The Taurus Raging Bull is set to be released on the 2.0 Update of FA:S. It is unknown what calibre the weapon is going to be featured in, but it is hinted at being chambered in .500 Magnum.
Desert Eagle
The Desert Eagle is featured in FA:S as the heavy-hitting pistol. Despite its calibre, the recoil is relatively similar to .44 Magnum or .357 Magnum, but this is likely for balancing and gameplay reasons. It carries 7 rounds a magazine or 7 rounds plus one chambered.
Sub-Machine Guns
Sterling
The Sterling SMG is set to be released for the 2.0 Update. It appears in two versions, the L2A3 version and the Silenced "Patchett" version.
Ingram MAC-11
The Ingram MAC-11 is featured in FA:S as a cheap Sub-Machine gun. It carries 32 rounds and fires the .380ACP round.
H&K MP5A4
Featured in-game as a staple Sub-Machine gun platform at a reasonable price tag. Features four fire modes, for which only three are currently usable.
IMI Uzi
One of the weapons featured for the 1.1 Weapon Poll in a WiP stage.
Chang Feng
One of the more obscure firearms added to FA:S. It uses a 50 round helical magazine that is top loaded on the weapon and uses the 9x19mm Parabellum round. It was added to replace the ageing PP-19 Bizon, featured in the GoldSrc version of Firearms.
Shotguns
Benelli M3 Super 90
The Benelli M3 Super 90 appears in FA:S with a two tone colour combination of a Tan barrel and receiver with a black synthetic pistol gripped stock and synthetic fore-grip as well a side saddle shell holder. It is correctly depicted as a semi-automatic shotgun and holds 8 shells of 12 gauge 00 Buckshot. Due to the tightness of the spread of shot, it is likely that the M3 was fitted with a choke to improve the spread and make it a functional combat shotgun.
Remington 870
The Remington 870 was added in the 1.0e patch. The model was based off of a Marine Magnum variant of the shotgun but it features the blued finish and wooden stock and fore-grip of the Police Magnum variant. The size of the spread indicates that the weapon may use an open choke.
