Revision as of 10:20, 25 May 2010
Lost is a television series that aired on ABC from 2004-2010. The series followed a group of plane crash survivors who slowly uncover the mysteries surrounding the island that they have found themselves stranded upon. Among the executive producers of the series is J.J. Abrams (Alias and Fringe).
The following weapons were used in the television series Lost:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer Pro SP2009
A SIG-Sauer Pro SP2009 is recovered by Sawyer (Josh Holloway) from the unconscious US Marshal Edward Mars. Later, the handgun is passed on to Kate (Evangeline Lilly), and then the other survivors.
SIG-Sauer P220
The SIG-Sauer P220 is supposedly used by Kate and several members of the Dharma Initiative in the 1970's. The P220 was only adopted in service in 1975, which would be make it more believable to be used. However, the weapons used appear to be P226 models.
SIG-Sauer P6
Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson) uses a SIG-Sauer P6 when he goes to shoot Penny. You can tell by the utilitarian takedown lever on the left side of the reciever that it is the rougher West German police version of the P225, the P6.
SIG-Sauer P226
The SIG-Sauer P226 is used by Sayid (Naveen Andrews) when he gets Hurley from the Santa Rosa mental institution. In season one, at least two of the guns in the U.S. Marshal's case are P226s. In a promo for season 6, Sawyer is seen with one of these. In 6x02 "LAX Part 2", Kate takes a SIG-Sauer P226 from the U.S. Marshal and pulls it on the driver of the taxi with Claire in it.
Remington Model 700
Seen first in season 1, the Winchester Model 70 is one of rifles owned by Danielle (Mira Furlan).
M1911A1
The M1911A1 is seen in various models in the hands of numerous characters in flashbacks and flashforwards. Jack (Matthew Fox) is seen firing one in the Season 5 Finale "The Incident". Miles Straume carries one when he first arrives on the island.
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS by Michael (Harold Perrineau) to shoot the Dharma shark in season 2. Also used by Ana-Lucia (Michelle Rodriguez) to shoot Shannon (Maggie Grace) by accident. Many characters, including Jack, Jin, Sayid and Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell) use this in 1977, only a year after it went into production in Italy. [1]
Flashpaper Beretta 92FS
Used by Sayid in the "flash sideways" to kill Keamy and his guard, when he walks with it later, it is a real Beretta 92FS.
Walther PPK/S
Used by Charlie to shoot Ethan in season 1.
Walther PPK
Kate holds a flashcap non-gun that resembles the Walther PPK.
Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub
Sawyer bought one while he was in Australia for his revenge mission. In the script, it is said that the revolver is a compact .357
Magnum Research Baby Eagle
Kate keeps a Magnum Research Baby Eagle in her house. The Baby Eagle is pretty much a Jericho 941, made by IMI but imported and rebranded by Magnum Research.
Glock 17
A Second Generation Two Tone Glock, looks like a 17, is used by Sun (Yunjin Kim). A Glock logo can clearly be seen on the side of the gun. In a promo for season 6, Sawyer is seen with a Glock pistol, it is only seen briefly and not fully.
Smith and Wesson M10
Locke took one from ditch of dead Dharma Initative members.
I believe this to be a Smith and Wesson model 10 (an early one) watch this episode again and closley examine it this time - drh
It is. You can tell by the barrel pin in the top strap. -Cozmo
Walther P38
Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson) uses a Walther P38 in a flashback when he steals Danielle's baby. Also used by Daniel and carried by several Dharma Security. This is the only pistol correct for its time period so far in 1970s scenes.
Daniel Faraday (Jeremy Davies) is given this pistol by Jack in the 70s before they attempt to contact the Others.
Makarov PM
Desmond Hume (Henry Ian Cusick) threatens Jack and Locke with this in the hatch in season 2. He also contemplated suicide with the weapon in "Live Together, Die Alone." The words, "Makarov", "Arsenal" and "Made in Bulgaria" can be seen on the weapon which denotes that the Makarov pistol in question was made by Bulgarian arms manufacturer Arsenal.
Tokarev TT-33 Pistol
A Tokarev TT-33 Pistol is among the guns that John was transporting back to the compound in "Further Instructions."
Luger P08
Carried by Tom in "Through the Looking Glass." He dropped it and Juliet picked it up.
Shotguns
Remington 870
Used by a bank robber during one of Kate's flashbacks.
Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson) arms himself with an 870 with a pistol grip and shortened barrel when Martin Keamy's mercenaries storm his camp.
Double barrel shotgun
Held by Ray Mullen when he meets Kate in a flashback. A sawn off version is later used, first carried by "Ceasar" and later stolen by Ben to kill Ceasar. Ben kept the gun under his desk in the Hydra facility.
Browning shotgun (?)
A Browning shotgun (?) seen in the hands of a Dharma Initiative security man.
Rifles
Winchester Model 70
The Winchester Model 70 is the other rifle taken from Danielle by Sayid (Naveen Andrews).
Mosin-Nagant M91/30 rifle
Seen in the episode "Enter 77" as Mikhail's (Andrew Divoff) rifle. Mikhail's M91/30 rifle would later be used by Sayid (Naveen Andrews) in a number of episodes after "Enter 77"
M1 Garand
Seen in the later episodes when used by the Others on the island. Sawyer also uses one.
Submachine Guns
Ruger Mini-14
Seen in the hands of "The Others" in one episode. Wielded by Sayid (Naveen Andrews) and Jin (Daniel Dae Kim) in other episodes. also seen in the episode Dead is Dead. Used extensively in 1977 episodes. Many Jacob followers are seen with these rifles and one of them shoots the man in black/flocke/the smoke monster, however the bullet bounces off and the man is killed soon after.
M1 Carbine
Juliette fires one at attackers in a boat. One was also carried by Ellie in Jughead.
Also carried and heard being fired by Desmond in 'Par Avion', when he claims to have been hunting a boar.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
The Heckler & Koch MP5A2 is used by US soldiers in Sayid's flashback. Also used by Martin Keamy (Kevin Durand) and the mercenaries, notably to shoot skeet on boat. Note the ambidextrous MP5-Navy trigger group.
Assault Rifles
AKM
AKM rifles were commonly seen in Lost in both flashbacks and on the island itself. The bunker Desmond was living in had a large collection of AKM rifles in the bunker's armory. There is a good possibility that many of the AKM rifles in the Swan Station's armory were Romanian-made WASR-10 semi-automatic rifles.
AKMS
Wielded by members of the Iraqi Republican Guard during one of Sayid's (Naveen Andrews) flashbacks.
M1A
Seen carried over the shoulder of an Other in "The Incident." The use of a muzzle brake rather than a flash suppressor (and the lack of a bayonet lug) marks it as an M1A rather than an M14.
SKS
The SKS rifle is used by Sayid in raiding the Others camp in one episode. The SKS rifle Sayid used was a Chinese SKS (note the bayonet). John Locke (Terry O'Quinn) also holds an SKS when barricaded inside a house in the episode "The Shape of Things to Come." Mikhail also uses an SKS to shoot at Desmond as he sits in a boat. One of the Jacob followers fires a SKS at the smoke monster but is quickly killed. Kate carried one on an "A-Team" mission to the Flame station and then to the Barracks in an attempt to rescue Jack.
In the episode "Recon" (S6E8), Kate brandishes an SKS several times in the episode, including once as a melee weapon with the intention of swinging it by the barrel at an attacker. Several episodes later, in "The Package", the rifle is seen laying next to her.
FN FAL
Carried by Sawyer until thrown from helicopter as he bails out. It appears to be an inch-based FAL.
M4A1 Carbine SOPMOD
Used by Martin Keamy and the mercenaries who attack the island. Although never used, Sayid can also be seen carrying one after the Mercenaries were killed off before getting on to the chopper.
Heckler & Koch SR9(T)
Found in the Swan station's armory by John Locke in season 2, episode 4 (Everybody Hates Hugo). This is not an MSG 90, but an SR9(T) sniper rifle. Sort of a mid-point between the MSG90 and the PSG-1.
Other
FGM-148 Javelin
Seen briefly on the Kahana when the mercenaries are arming up to return to the island
Flare Gun
A flare gun that Naomi brought to the Island, and that Desmond pointed at Mikhail.
Spear gun
Used by Desmond in the Looking Glass station.
Dart gun
A dart gun was used in an attempt to kidnap and/or kill Sayid in "Because You Left."
