::Did some screencaps of the latest episode, apparently the Five-seveN is used as a futuristic stand-in for what is referred to as the 'Model 76' and was canonically designed by William Bell. Bell also designed the 'Model 77' which is also an FN57 with a funky attachment on its rail. Anyone recognize the attachment? Something the prop department mocked up to look cool or something from the strange world of CAA catalogues? --[[User:Joffeloff|Joffeloff]] 18:51, 21 May 2010 (UTC) | |||

This page is my magnum opus, as it were, so HANDS OFF! I'm kidding of course, but I would very much like to do it. --ManiacallyChallenged 11:34, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- Though it is POLITE not to mess with people's pages when they've done 99% of the work, it happens. Just keep in mind IF the changes are good (i.e. correct spellings, added pertinent details, better images, etc.) then don't take it personally. I know it's hard. But on the flip side, you also have the right to UNDO BS additions to your page, like erroneous identifications, sarcastic comments, or people removing information unnecessarily. The end result is to create a page that is not an exercise in self indulgence (unfortunately some of our members do just that), but is a nice, concise, and informative page on the film/show which showcases the weapons information, weapons trivia as it relates to the show, and 'some' movie/show trivia that is peripherally associated with the weapons trivia. MoviePropMaster2008 19:59, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- I was kidding, don't worry. I'll try not to post a million billion pictures of the Glock 26, as much as I love it. --ManiacallyChallenged 21:58, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

- You did a good job and all, BUT...gun page links go in the body of the text, not the heading. -MT2008
- I've seen it done both ways, but I wasn't sure. Thanks. --ManiacallyChallenged 21:58, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I've had to tell a lot of people to correct their pages...for precisely this reason. I don't want users on this site to think it's acceptable to use gun page links in the heading. -MT2008
In the episode where Agent Dunham is kidnapped and drugged, as she makes her escape, she grabs a pistol from one of the guards she defeats. I paused the video and stared at the image for a long time to try to ID it to no avail. Anyone got a screenshot of that?
I removed the "Observer Pistols" segment, it honestly added nothing to the page. Sorry if it was your personal baby. --ManiacallyChallenged 01:35, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
why not have a segment on the "Observer Pistols" or other high tech guns? Rex095
- Mainly because they don't do much in the show, it's hard to tell what they are because they are rarely seen and mocked up, AND nobody has pictures, so why bother with the segment. --ManiacallyChallenged 01:59, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry for the edit-storm, adding stuff and trying to fix a lot of my previous errors. I added a couple of new Glock 26 shots, and removed some of the worse ones(all the ones I took out were ones I took, so don't worry about it.) Also: created some actor pages, and am working on gun pages. Any input, or images of that suppressed Desert Eagle from S2 episode "August" would be sweet. Thanks. --ManiacallyChallenged 04:51, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
why use a suppressed Desert Eagle? well in the world of the show, there are think that are hard to kill, Rex095
- Think about it this way: Anna Torv carries a Glock 26, because a Glock 17 looks massive when she holds it. Likewise, the assassin was a gigantic dude, and anything less than a Desert Eagle would look like a pop-gun when he was holding it, or carrying it in his holster. It was, almost certainly, not a decision about "what gun would work here" but rather "what gun is visually interesting here." --ManiacallyChallenged 20:55, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
True True Rex095. the Desert Eagle is a visually strucking gun.
I wounder what would a be a good handgun for fighting paranormal threats. Rex095
- If you ask me, the show does a good job of having bad guys being tough, but not BS invincible. So, a Desert Eagle would be okay-ish. --ManiacallyChallenged 22:25, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
I was thinking a .45 like a Para-Ordnance P-14 or a Heckler & Koch Mark 23, with a .44 Revolver as a back up. Rex095
- Heh, a Mark 23 is pretty much as big as a Desert Eagle. :D --ManiacallyChallenged 21:20, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
I did not know that. Desert Eagle has stopping power but not sere about practcalty. Rex095
- Let's see how your .44 does against a manticore! Another gigantic pistol, my man. Dunham has the right idea, a Glock 26 is a nice choice.
Is anybody gonna screencap season 1? If not I may start doing it. --70.27.5.22 01:12, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- I think most of season 1 HAS been screencapped. There really aren't a lot of firearms used in the show, mostly FBI glocks and the occasional exotic thing, and those have been cataloged.. Just make sure you don't replace shots or duplicate them(unless you have better images). Sound good? --ManiacallyChallenged 03:13, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, Dunham uses a SIG in the pilot episode, I'll get some pisctures of that. I own Season 1 and can probably get better quality images than those on the page, should I replace them or leave them?--Pølaris 03:18, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- Oh heck yeah, if you've got the DVD! I got my shots mostly off of Hulu(gag) so they don't look that good. I regrettably haven't even seen the pilot, or the first few episodes even, so if you can identify and screencap stuff, put it up! --ManiacallyChallenged 20:38, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

I may be bloating this page too much with screen caps. Anybody have any problem with all the shots?
--ManiacallyChallenged 22:17, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
Seasons
I'm thinking that since I'm screencapping all of Season 1 this page might get a bit bulky, with Season 2 screencaps up as well. We should make a separate page fore season 1 and 2.--Pølaris 17:36, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Not really that much of a need if there weren't so many different images of the same person with the same gun. Now I think Anna Torv looks great wielding firearms as much as the next guy, but you don't need anymore than 1 or 2 per combo. Just my 2 cents though. --Crazycrankle 04:10, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Shockwave Gun
The info for this thing is that it is "based on a real gun". Can someone clarify what real gun this is based on? Excalibur01
- I meant built around. Sorry for the confusion.--Pølaris 20:50, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
Colours
My VLC player fucked itself colourswise and turned everything blueish (you can see it in the last screencap of the Glock 17 section) so now all my screencaps are in full b&w.--Pølaris 03:37, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Latest Episode
Anyone have screencaps of the gun Olivia alternate used?
- Don't have screencaps, but it was a FN Five-Seven, the same gun was also used by her partner who got burned.--Pølaris 21:50, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

Observer's Pistol
It looks like it IS the Detonics; the square trigger guard seems to make it a slam-dunk, based on the screencaps. It'd be nice to have a side-view, though. 70.118.116.239
- Ya, too bad they don't give one in the episode.--Pølaris 18:03, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
