The following weapons are used in this film.

Smith & Wesson Model 14

In the carnival scene which takes place in 1984, LAPD Officer (later Lieutenant and Assistant District Attorney) Nick Styles (Denzel Washington) draws a Smith & Wesson Model 14 .38 revolver on Earl Tallbot Blake (John Lithgow), who had just murdered several drug dealers and jumped out a window at Styles' feet.

At the end of the film, where Blake kills Kim (Josh Evans) while he is tied to the towers, Blake also uses a Jetfire.

Ithaca 37

The shotgun that Earl Talbot Blake uses during the carnival scene is, as Nick Styles states, "an Ithaca 37 12 gauge sawed off shotgun with a 5 pound slide.". It is a "stakeout" nickel-plated Ithaca 37 similiar to the one Arnold Schwarzenegger uses in the film Kindergarten Cop.
