M16A1
During the opening scene of the movie, Then Lieutenants Hodges and Childers platoon of Marines carry the M16A1 as their standard rifle.
M60 Machine Gun
The Standard machine gun in Vietnam, is seen in the opening scene of the movie and in the D variant on the UH-1 helicopter.
M16A2
Standard rifle of the US military from the 1980's onwards.
M203 Grenade Launcher
Mounted on several of the M16's in the embassy siege.
M1911 pistol
Standard side arm of the US military. Is seen being carried by Lieutenant/Colonel Childers
Mosberg 500 Combat Shotgun
Is seen being used by the Marine Embassy Guards during the siege.
Remington 870 Combat Shot Gun
Is shown being used by one of the Marines in Vietnam during the opening scene.
M79 Grenade Launcher
