Extraction 2 is the 2023 sequel to the film series that began with the 2020 feature Extraction. Sam Hargrave returns as director and Chris Hemsworth returns as the Black Ops mercenary Tyler Rake, who after being presumed dead, returns for yet another high-stakes mission. Anthony and Joe Russo returns as producers and the screenplay was written by Joe Russo and the cast includes Golshifteh Farahani, Idris Elba, Olga Kurylenko, and Daniel Bernhardt. The sequel was released on the streaming service Netflix on June 16, 2023.
The following weapons were used in the film Extraction 2:
Handguns
Glock 17 (Agency Arms Custom)
Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) and Nik Khan (Golshifteh Farahani) mainly carry Agency Arms Glock 17 pistols as their sidearm. Modifications include a stippled frame, custom flat face trigger, a milled slide with front serrations and a cut for a Trijicon RMR, a threaded barrel (occasionally fitted with a Rugged suppressor) and a Surefire X300 Ultra weaponlight.
Beretta 92FS
Nagazi mercenaries carry Beretta 92FS pistols in their drop leg holsters, with one of them attempting to use it when wrestling with Rake in the train cabin, dropping next to Sandro.
Heckler & Koch USP
During the train attack, boarding Nagazi mercenaries draw and fire their Heckler & Koch USP pistols when their primary weapon is disarmed by both Tyler and Nik.
SIG Sauer P320 X5
Yaz Khan (Adam Bessa) appears to use a SIG-Sauer P320 X5 with slide-mounted red dot sight during the firefight at the Vienna safe house. Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) is also using the P320.
Smith & Wesson Model 40 Centennial
While fighting with a mercenary in the train drivers cabins, Nik Khan (Golshifteh Farahani) draws a Smith & Wesson Model 40 Centennial revolver from her ankle holster and fires it at the mercenary. It may be a Non Gun due to the molded trigger.
STI Perfect 10
Zurab Radiani (Tornike Gorichiani) carries a STI Perfect 10 as his sidearm in the film.
Rifles
AKMS
AKMS rifles are carried by a majority of the Nagazi mercenaries during the train attack.
Custom AKMS shorty
A Nagazi henchman is seen armed with a custom shorty AKMS.
AKMSU
AKMSUs with railed handguards are used by some of the Nagazi mercenaries in Vienna. Zurab picks one up and fires at the extraction team. These appear to be Arsenal SLR-107URs converted for the film.
AK-74
Some Nagazi mercenaries carry AK-74 with black furniture. One of them has an under barrel grenade launcher that doesn’t appear to be a GP-30.
AK-105
Nagazi mercenaries including Zurab Radiani (Tornike Gorichiani) carry AK-105 type carbines outfitted in Zentico furniture with micro red dot optics. At least some of these appear to be converted Bulgarian Arsenal carbines as they lack the noteworthy AK100 pattern "bolt kicker" or "bump" rivet on the left side of their front trunnion.
CMMG Mk47 AKS8
Three Nagazi mercenaries boarding the train are armed with CMMG Mk47 AKS8 with Trijicon MRO red dot and Magpul Gen 2 BUIS. While wrestling with three of the mercenaries in the train cabin, Tyler briefly holds a Mk47 rifle to whack it’s owner.
Daniel Defense M4V7S
Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) is seen using a custom-made rifle that mainly resembles a Daniel Defense M4V7S with an EoTech EXPS-3, G33 magnifier, AN-PEQ 15 laser module, Modlite weaponlight, BCM Gunfighter vertical grip, a suppressor with a cloth cover, and a Magpul SL stock.
Daniel Defense MK18
Nik Khan (Golshifteh Farahani) is seen using a Daniel Defense DDM4 MK18 fitted with a EOTech XPS3 holographic sight with magnifier, foregrip, flashlight, prong flash hider, AN/PEQ-15, QD sling and Crane SOPMOD stock during as her primary weapon during extraction and throughout the film.
Note the DDMK18 marking on the rear of the upper reciever.
Noveske N4 CQB
Yaz Khan (Adam Bessa) uses a Noveske N4 CQB with a EOTech 551 holographic sight, MLOK hand guard, prong flash hider, flashlight, foregrip, Magpul SL buttstock and P-MAG.

SIG-Sauer MCX
An extraction team member on board the train is seen armed with a suppressed SIG-Sauer MCX before being gunned down by the mercenary helicopter.
V Seven Harbinger
Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) is seen carrying an AR-10 type rifle identified by ISS (the movie's armorers) as a V Seven Harbinger with a BCM MCMR handguard, outfitted with a Leupold LPVO optic, Surefire Scout light, BE Meyers MAWL laser module, BCM Gunfighter vertical grip during the shootout in Vienna.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
In preparation to face off with Zurab, Tyler grabs weapons and equipment out of weapon crates which includes a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine gun with a Surefire 628 forend and SEF trigger grouping, however he does not pick it up.
Heckler & Koch UMP-45
One of the Nagazi mercenaries is seen armed with a Heckler & Koch UMP-45 submachine gun.
SIG-Sauer MPX
Yaz uses a suppressed SIG-Sauer MPX submachine gun with an M-LOK handguard and a folding stock during the extraction mission from the prison.
Shotguns
Saiga 12K
A female mercenary uses a customised Saiga 12K shotgun with a EOTech 551 sight, short barrel and a 20-round drum magazine to fire at Austrian police forces.

Machine Guns
FN 240 Machine Gun
An FN 240 B Machine Gun is seen used by a henchman. Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) also picks a M240B with a Trijicon ACOG up out of a weapons crate and fires it at several mercenaries.
M249 SAW Para
A M249 Paratrooper with a ELCAN Spectre sight is seen carried by a mercenary to take out several police vehicles and later in the apartment building pool room in Austria.
Mk 46 Mod 0
A Mk 46 Mod 0 with a Trijicon TA31 with Doctor mini reflex sight is seen mounted on the train, supposed to be manned by an extraction team member.
Dillon Aero M134 Minigun
A handheld Dillon Aero M134 Minigun is seen next to a dead extraction team member on top of the train driver cabin which Tyler Rake then picks up to fire at the mercenary helicopter. A Nagazi mercenary on board a helicopter opens fire a mounted Dillon Aero minigun at the safehouse in Vienna.
Sniper Rifles
Accuracy International Arctic Warfare Police
An Austrian heliborne officer is seen with a Accuracy International Arctic Warfare Police, rechambering the rifle in a continuity error after firing the G22A2.
G22A2
An Austrian heliborne officer fires a G22A2 sniper rifle at two of the Nagazi mercenaries with RPGs before changing to a Accuracy International Arctic Warfare Police in the next scene.
Launchers
Brügger & Thomet GL-06
A Brügger & Thomet GL-06 grenade launcher is seen given to Tyler to use to blow the gate open during the extraction from the prison.
MGL Mk 1S
Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) uses what appears to be a Milkor MGL Mk 1S grenade launcher in the Netflix first look teaser. Is used in the final shootout.
FN Mk 13 EGLM
Tyler Rake picks up a standalone tan FN EGLM grenade launcher during the apartment attack but doesn’t fire it and leaves it behind.
RPG-7
Nagazi mercenaries use RPG-7 launchers against the extraction team during the train attack. Zurab Radiani (Tornike Gorichiani) and several mercenaries use RPG-7s in Vienna.
=Grenades=
M67 Hand Grenade
Several characters throughout the film including Yaz use M67 hand grenades. A few are also seen in a weapons crate when Tyler picks up the M240 machine gun in the train cart.
M84 Stun Grenade
A few M84 stun grenade are seen in a weapons crate when Tyler picks up the M240 machine gun in the train cart. Tyler takes a few M84 stun grenades before facing off with Zurab.
