The following firearms appear in the 1983 film The Outsiders, based on the S.E. Hinton novel
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Along with $50, Dally Winston (Matt Dillon) gives Ponyboy Curtis (C. Thomas Howell) and Johnny Cade (Ralph Macchio) a Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver. Altough they never fire it, Johnny pulls it out when the guards appraoch the train cart they're hiding in. The two police officers that kill Dally in the end are also armed with them.
Smith & Wesson Model 39
Dally's pistol in the film is a Smith & Wesson Model 39 (which he claims he keeps unloaded). It's first seen in Dally's convertable at the Dairy Queen, which he quickly hides in the glove compartment. After Johnny dies, Dally pulls it out on a doctor, dry firing it at him. He then uses it to rob a gas station (grocery store in the novel), where you can clearly see it has a single stack frame, making it a Smithb& Wesson 39 and not a Browning Hi-Power. It is last seen when he makes his stand agianst the police, ultimately getting killed since the gun was unloaded (which he wanted since Johnny was the only person he cared about).
Iver Johnson Revolver
During the robbery, the gas station clerk uses a nickel plated Iver Johnson Revolver in .32 S&W, firing it at Dally when he makes his escape.
