The Outsider is a 2020 mystery-horror-thriller miniseries based on Stephen King's 2018 novel of the same name.
In rural Cherokee City, Georgia, the body of a young boy, Frankie Peterson, is found brutalized and mutilated. The police, shocked at the brutal nature of the crime, quickly uncover damning evidence that pin the blame on local teacher and baseball coach Terry Maitland (Jason Bateman). The police, led by Detective Ralph Anderson (Ben Mendelsohn), swiftly arrest him very publicly. Despite the evidence arrayed against him, Maitland insists he is innocent. When Maitland's lawyer finds equally indisputable evidence placing him in a completely different city at the time of the killing, the police are left puzzled. A person can't be in two places at once- right?
As the investigation deepens, the police and Maitland's supporters discover similarities between the most recent murder and that of a string of recent, seemingly unrelated, child murders across the United States. Someone, or something, else is pulling the strings, perpetrating a cycle of murder, grief, rage, and vengeance.
All the while- a mysterious hooded figure stalks the key players in the investigation.
The following weapons were used in the television series The Outsider:
The Glock 17 is carried by multiple law enforcement members, including the Cherokee City Police Department, Detective Ralph Anderson (Ben Mendelsohn) while on duty, Georgia Bureau of Investigation Agent Yunis Sablo (Yul Vazquez), Dayton Police Department, and Cecil, Tennessee police.
What appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 10 is used by Tracey Powell (Drez Ryan) in "Tear-Drinker" (S1E05). A news report identifies it as a ".38 caliber Smith & Wesson".
A Stevens Model 67 that appears to be chambered in .410 bore is brought by Seale Bolton (Max Beesley) for the confrontation with El Cuco. It is used most prominently throughout the season finale "Must/Can't" (S1E10), and is also briefly used by Claude Bolton (Paddy Considine).

The latter displays unease throughout this process.Error creating thumbnail: File missingSeale fires the Model 67 at Jack Hoskins in "Must/Can't" (S1E10). Note the thin barrel.Error creating thumbnail: File missingShortly after, Seale loads the Model 67 while in cover, giving a good look at the ejection port and receiver. The ejection port is noticeably smaller than one on a 12 or even 28 gauge shotgun, making this gun likely a .410 bore.
Benelli M2
What appears to be a Benelli M2 is retrieved by Detective Jack Hoskins (Marc Menchaca) in "Foxhead" (S1E08). It is never seen fully and goes unused for the remainder of the series.
A Tikka T3x Tac A1 is retrieved by Detective Jack Hoskins (Marc Menchaca) in "Foxhead" (S1E08). He uses it most prominently during the shootout in the season finale "Must/Can't" (S1E10).
During a standoff in "Tear-Drinker" (S1E05), an AH-64 Apache with a mounted M230 Chain Gun flies overhead (a rather unlikely sight to see responding to a crime in a mid-sized American city).
