Vincent D'Onofrio is an American actor well known for his role as Private Leonard "Gomer Pyle" Lawrence in the 1987 Stanley Kubrick-directed war film Full Metal Jacket as well as his portrayal of NYPD Detective Robert Goren for 9 seasons of the NBC series Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He also is known for his portrayal of the villain Kingpin for 3 seasons of the Marvel Netflix series Daredevil, a role he reprised (this time in the MCU) for the Disney+ limited series Hawkeye. He also has appeared in such feature film remakes, including The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1998), Death Wish (2018) and The Magnificent Seven (2016).
