Antikiller 2: Antiterror (in opening credits and on some posters, the title is stylized as <Anti> killer2) is a 2003 Russian crime film, the sequel to 2002's Antikiller. Like the first movie, it is directed by Egor Konchalovskiy and based on the novel by Daniil Koretskiy. Filipp Korenev (Gosha Kutsenko), known as "Lis" (Fox), returns to service with the Ugolovny Rozysk (crime police). Together with his comrade-in-arms Litvinov (Sergey Veksler), "Lis" counters the activities of Chechen terrorist Uzhakh Aduev (Aleksey Serebryakov).
The movie was followed by one more sequel: Antikiller D.K. (2009). The franchise also includes a video game, Antikiller (2005). Antikiller 2 appeared as both a theatrical release and TV mini-series. The current page is based on the theatrical release.
The following weapons were used in the film Antikiller 2: Antiterror:
On the day of Korenev's (Gosha Kutsenko) wedding, his superior Gen. Nyrkov (Aleksey Buldakov) gifts him a nickel plated Walther P88, fitted with a biometric access control system. In the final scene, the pistol falls into the hands of Uzhakh Aduev (Aleksey Serebryakov). The actual screen gun is a .177 pellet Umarex Walther CP88 replica.
Stechkin APS pistols are used by SOBR (Special Rapid Response Unit, a Russian military police unit similar in purpose to SWAT teams) troopers, including their commander Lt. Col. Litvinov (Sergey Veksler). In the opening scene, "Lis" (Gosha Kutsenko) also uses an APS. During the attack on the prison car, a plainclothes Militsia detective fires an APS.
In the opening and final scenes some of SOBR (SWAT) troopers are armed with AK-74 assault rifles. Some of the rifles are fitted with modern black polymer furniture, possibly intended to be a mock-up of the AK-74M.
Chechen terrorists also use AKS-47s (these guns are possibly AKMSs with removed muzzle brakes given the ribbed receiver covers, but they are listed as a separate entry just in case).
