The Mandalorian is an original streaming show that is the first live action series set in the universe of Star Wars. Set five years following the events of Return of the Jedi, the series follows a lone bounty hunter who wears the armor of the legendary Mandalorian warriors, whose history included such figures as Jango Fett and Boba Fett. The series was created by Jon Favreau and premiered in November of 2019 on Disney's new streaming service, Disney+.
