It should be noted that since a functional mortar is a Destructive Device under US law and it is very hard to acquire one, most mortars in live-action productions not seen in stock footage (particularly any that are modern or "fired" on-screen) are likely to be metal tubes rigged with pyro charges fitted with real mortar accessories such as stands and baseplates.
