Numb3rs (2005-2010)

Numb3rs was a crime procedural series that aired for six seasons on CBS from 2005 to 2010. The series starred Rob Morrow as FBI Special Agent Don Eppes, the head of a special FBI crime unit in Los Angeles, who is assisted in solving cases by his genius brother, who sees clues hidden in the mathematical models he creates of the crime. Two of the executive producers of the series were Ridley Scott and Tony Scott.

The following weapons were used in the series Numb3rs:

Pistols

Glock 19

The Glock 19 is the sidearm carried by various FBI Agents in the series. Special Agent Don Eppes (Rob Morrow) has a Glock 19 holstered in the series finale "Cause and Effect" (S6E16), where it is stolen and used in a series of vigilante murders. A Glock 19 also is seen in "The Mole" (S3E04).

Glock 17 (Full Auto)

Ella Pierce (Ari Graynor) opens fire on the agents with a Glock 17 converted to full auto in "Tabu" (S4E08). There is also a brief glance on the Glock's slide, which doesn't appear to have a selector switch.

Glock 23

FBI Special Agent Don Eppes (Rob Morrow) and FBI Special Agent David Sinclair (Alimi Ballard) both carry Glock 23s as their sidearms. If you look carefully in the episodes the slide is too short and so is the frame. Also in Season 4 episode 4 during the standoff in the elevator it is clearly marked as a Glock 23. Of note is the fact that Don always carries his Glock 23 in a chest holster attached to his bullet-resistant vest when going on raids. This is likely because it is easier to reach than his usual belt holster when wearing the vest.

It was strictly a civilian market semiautomatic pistol. Various SPP pistols have been converted (after the fact) to full auto fire for movie armories and law enforcement samples.

Interesting enough, MGC called their replica rifle the CAR-15 which was Colt's name for the civilian (non-military designation) rifle, rather than any of the names give by the U.S. Military. This replica rifle was built on the same MGC M16 receiver, however the buttstock was pot metal, not plastic and it did not telescope. Instead the makers of the gun split the difference and locked the non-adjustable stock into the 'half extended/half closed' position. This feature did not enamor replica gun collectors to the weapon and it did not sell well.

Battle Rifles

BNT-35 (Fictional)

In "Arm in Arms" (S6E12), the team deals with a very dangerous rifle designated as a "BNT-35". The weapon is a high caliber rifle with its rounds able to pass straight through cars. The rifle appears to have been built from four different airsoft rifles, an SL8, a SCAR, an XM8, and an FAL. It has the H&K SL8's stock/pistol grip, the SCAR's upper receiver and barrel, which has been cut about half way between the charging handle and front sight, with the front section moved forward and down, the XM8's front handguard, the FAL's 20-round magazine, and various custom modifications to put it all together.
