The story follows Dr. Kenzo Tenma, a brilliant neurosurgeon who discovered that the young boy named Johan who he saved years ago has turned into a criminal mastermind responsible for a series of brutal murders. As he tries to track down Johan himself, he is also trying to evade the police, particularly an obsessive BKA inspector who believes Tenma is the true perpetrator. The story takes place across various parts of Germany and Czech Republic.

Roberto briefly acquired the rifle from Tenma but wasn't able to use it.
