In more recent years, he was known to television audiences for his roles as Jack Gallo in the NBC sitcom ''Just Shoot Me'' and as Albert “Pops” Solomon in the ABC sitcom ''The Goldbergs''. He passed away on March 23, 2021 at the age of 87.
