Justified was a television crime drama that starred Timothy Olyphant as Raylan Givens, a Deputy US Marshal who is transferred back to his home state of Kentucky when his methods of apprehending criminals clashes with his superiors. Upon his return, he finds himself confronting friends and family who now are on both sides of the law. Justified was adapted from a short story and a series of novels written by author Elmore Leonard (Hombre, Get Shorty, and Out of Sight). The series, which was created by Graham Yost (Boomtown), premiered in the US on the FX Network and aired for six seasons from 2010 to 2015.
