The Glock 18 is a select fire version of the Glock 17 chambered for 9x19mm. If you are in doubt a Glock is a genuine Glock 18, look at the slide. Unlike other Glock variants, it has a switch on the slide used to select semi-automatic or fully-automatic firing. The switch somewhat resembles a decocking safety.
