The Cockpit (ザ・コクピット) is a 1993 three-part OVA anime which tells 3 different stories about one German Pilot and two Japanese soldiers of World War Two.

Captain Erhardt Von Rheindars is briefly seen drawing a Luger P08 during the encounter with German ground troops.

A Late war Type 100 submachine gun is carried by Private Kodai over his back which is never seen used.

The American motorcyclist uses an M3 "Grease Gun".

German soldiers carry Karabiner 98k rifles.
Arisaka Type 38
Imperial Japanese Army soldiers including Private Utsunomiya carry Arisaka Type 38s.

The M1 Carbine is seen used by U.S. soldiers firing at Private Utsunomiya.

Some US troops are also seen with M1 Garands.
