Generation of Victors (Pokolenie pobediteley) is a Soviet 1936 historical drama, directed by Vera Stroyeva. It depicts the fate of several young men in Russian Empire who became revolutionaries and partisipate in underground struggle and 1905 Russian Revolution.
The following weapons were used in the film Generation of Victors (Pokolenie pobediteley):
Bolshevik Aleksandr Nikitovich Mikhaylov (Boris Shchukin) and some other revolutionaries use Nagant M1895 revolvers. Niko Gotseridze's (Vladimir Kandelaki) Mauser C96 pistol (see below) switches to a Nagant during the battle on barricade.
A policeman, escorting convict Aleksandr Mikhaylov, carries a revolver in holster. The holster is a standard Nagant, but the revolver is significantly smaller.
A Feldfebel (senior NCO) of the Semyonoskiy Lifeguard Regiment carries a compact, possibly top-break, revolver during the attack on barricade. It is possibly a small Smith & Wesson model, original or European version.
During the battle on barricade Aleksandr Mikhaylov (Boris Shchukin) hands a revolver to Sofiya Morozova (Kseniya Tarasova). It appears to be a small nickel plated revolver with swing-out cylinder that opens to left, so the gun is probably some Smith & Wesson model (original or European version).
Later in the same scene Mikhaylov holds a different revolver with longer barrel.
Pistols
FN Model 1900
An officer of the Semyonoskiy Lifeguard Regiment carries FN Model 1900 pistol during the attack on barricade. FN Model 1900 pistols were never issued as service weapon in Russian Army but officers often purchased these guns privately.
Mauser C96
Niko Gotseridze (Vladimir Kandelaki) carries a Mauser C96 pistol. This gun seems to have its barrel permanently blocked. Later Gotseridze is seen firing a Nagant revolver.
During the revolutionary events of 1905 Mosin Nagant M1891 rifles are widely seen in hands of police, soldiers of the Semyonoskiy Lifeguard Regiment and revolutionaries. Both Infantry and Dragoon models are seen.
During the battle on barricade Varvara Postnikova (Vera Maretskaya) throws hand grenades. In reality only makeshift hand bombs were used during 1905 events, but these grenades look more like ball hand grenades of WW1 era.
