The Blaser R93 is a German straight-pull modular precision sniper rifle. Originally a hunting weapon with a traditional wooden stock (now discontinued), a police version was released in 1997, under the name Long Range Sporter (LRS) (some sources call it Blaser LRT instead, Long Range Tactical). It was adopted by multiple police and military forces, and Blaser later updated the military design to the Tactical model, and then the LRS2 and Tactical 2 model.
The rifle is chambered in 7.62 NATO, .300 Winchester Magnum, .338 Lapua and 6.5x55mm.
One of the more unusual variants of the R93 is a handgun version called the Blaser R93 Handgun Hunting System. It is an ultra short R93 with a 14-inch barrel and pistol grip.
