The '''Blaser R93''' is a German straight-pull modular precision sniper rifle. Originally a hunting weapon with a traditional wooden stock (now discontinued), a police version was released in 1997, under the name Long Range Sporter (LRS) (some sources call it Blaser LRT instead, Long Range Tactical). It was adopted by multiple police and military forces, and Blaser later updated the military design to the Tactical model, and then the LRS2 and Tactical 2 model.

The rifle is chambered in 7.62 NATO, .300 Winchester Magnum, .338 Lapua and 6.5x55mm.

One of the more unusual variants of the R93 is a handgun version called the Blaser R93 Handgun Hunting System. It is an ultra short R93 with a 14-inch barrel and pistol grip.

The '''Blaser R93 LRS2''' is a German made, precision sniper rifle, chambered in 7.62 NATO, .300 Winchester Magnum, .338 Lapua and 6.5x55mm.  The rifle is also available in a plain sporting version (a high end hunting rifle) with a traditional looking wooden stock and none of the tactical 'features'.  Surprisingly enough, there is a HANDGUN version of the R93.  It is an ultra short R93 with a bolt action, short barrel and pistol grip, though all of the calibers fired by the R93 must have murderous recoil in a handgun.
Current price is about €3,659 in Germany.
