Season 1 of Fargo serves as the 'spiritual sequel' to the Coen Brothers-directed film of the same name.
The following weapons were used in Season 1 of Fargo:
Pistols
Glock 17
The Glock 17 serves as the standard issue sidearm for the Duluth Police Department. It is carried by Officer Gus Grimly (Colin Hanks) and Duluth SWAT operators. FBI Special Agents Webb Pepper (Jordan Peele) and Bill Budge (Keegan-Michael Key) also carry Glocks as their sidearms.
Beretta 92FS Inox
Lorne Malvo (Billy Bob Thornton) draws a Beretta 92FS Inox and places it on his car seat in anticipation of an ambush. However, when he is rammed by Wrench and Numbers the gun falls out of his reach, forcing him to use a knife to defend himself instead.
Taurus PT911 Stainless
Lorne Malvo (Billy Bob Thornton) uses a suppressed Taurus PT911 in the Las Vegas. He later uses the same gun upon returning to Bemidji.
SIG-Sauer P226 Nickel

Chazz Nygaard (Joshua Close) illegally owns a Daewoo K3 Paratrooper with rail forearm, vertical grip, and PIP collapsible stock. The K3 is meant to be a stand-in for an M249 SAW, and Chazz is said to have purchased the weapon from a friend who works in the Minnesota National Guard base Camp Ripley. He stores it in a secret compartment in his gun safe. Although the weapon is said to be an M249, it is clearly recognizable as a K3 by the shape of the gas tube and front sight (the show is filmed in British Columbia, where the K3 is always used as a stand-in for the M249).
