Jormungand (named for the serpent in Norse mythology that grew so big it wrapped around the world) is a twelve episode anime series based on the manga series of the same name by Keitarō Takahashi. It follows the exploits of Jonathan "Jonah" Mar, a child soldier recruited by Koko Hekmatyar to work for the black market side of HCLI, an international shipping corporation that secretly deals weapons all over the globe. The television adaptation began airing on April 10, 2012; a second season, Perfect Order began airing on October 10, 2012. Both seasons have been licensed by Funimation for a North American release.
The following weapons were used in the anime series Jormungand:
Handguns
Beretta 8000 Cougar F
”Master” uses a Beretta 8000 Cougar F as his main sidearm.
Beretta 84
Chinatsu is armed with a Beretta 84, using it to attempt an assassination at Koko in Dubai in "Musica Ex. Machina, Part 2".
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS makes occasional appearances throughout the series, most notably as Chinatsu and Tojo's preferred sidearm. Tojo's use of the 92FS gets replaced in the 2nd season by the SP 2022.
Beretta M9
Wilee uses a Beretta M9 during the flashback to his time in the US Army in the First Gulf War in "Pazuzu".
Browning Hi-Power Mark III
Before introducing him to the rest of her crew, Koko hands Jonah a Browning Hi-Power Mark III in "Gun Metal, Calico Road", which he continues to use as his primary sidearm.
Colt M1911A1
A Spin bodyguard uses a Colt M1911A1 during Hex's visit.
Colt XSE
Koko gives Jonah a Colt XSE as a decoy weapon before their confrontation with C.K. Kloshkin in "Gun Metal, Calico Road". Mildo and Lu also use XSEs as their sidearms in "Pulsar".
CZ 52
Chen Guoming uses a CZ 52 as his main sidearm in a flashback in "Hill of Destruction, Part 1" and in "Hill of Destruction, Part 2". Since Chen is from China and the PLA uses Soviet/Russian-made weapons and indigenous small arms based on Soviet/Russian bullets, it would be justified for Chen to be armed with this pistol since he was deployed on covert missions in Central Asia and Africa.
CZ 75
A CZ 75 is used Yusuf Gasud, one of Kaspar's West Asian arms dealers, to threaten a war orphan in "Vein".
CZ 100
Dragan Nicolaevich uses a CZ 100 to wound Leon Riviere at the runway of Planina Airport in "Dragon Shooter, Part 1".
Glock 17 (3rd Gen)
Mao uses a 3rd generation Glock 17 pistol as his sidearm. Other members of the team occasionally use 3rd gen Glock 17s as well before they were replaced by SP 2022s in the 2nd season. Karen switches from her GSR to a 3rd generation Glock 17, first seen in "Pazuzu". Note that all the Glocks in the series are drawn without the notch on the rail.
Glock 36
Lehm draws a Glock 36 from his pocket following Gregoire's ambush in the hotel room before firing 8 rounds to lockback, implying an extended baseplate and a combat loaded firearm.
Heckler & Koch Mark 23
Lehm's preferred sidearm is the Heckler & Koch Mark 23, which he uses throughout the series.
Heckler & Koch P7
A Spin bodyguard uses a Heckler & Koch P7 during Hex's visit.
Heckler & Koch USP

A Zastava M87 NSVT, the Serbian-made version of the Russian NSV machine gun, is seen on a T Republic tracked APC in the episode "Dragon Shooter, Part 1". ZU-23-2
A ZU-23-2 "Sergey" 23 mm anti-aircraft twin-barreled autocannon is fielded by a Balkan Dragon militia force to shoot down Koko's HCLI Antonov An-12 in "Dragon Shooter, Part 2". It is fired similarly to other one-shot grenade launchers like the M79 and the HK69A1.
