Izhmekh IZh-18 is a Soviet/Russian single barrelled hammerless shotgun. It appeared in 1964 and is still currently produced under a new brand Baikal MP-18M. One of the most modern versions of IZh-18 is a top-break single shot rifle MP-18MN that is produced in numerous calibers from .223 to 9.3x74R.
During its long life IZh-18 was very popular among hunters for its low price and decent quality.
