I'm not sure but still have some guesses. Chassepot rifle hardly can appear in a Russian-filmed movie (they never apppeared in Russia) so I think that these rifles are French Gras M1874 rifle that were purchased by Russian Army in France during the Great War due to shortage of Mosin rifles (as many as 450,000 according to some sources). Gras is generally based on Chassepot and looks very similar. Also Kropatschek rifles appear to be French Gras-Kropatschek version, also purchased by Russia (105,000). In 1920s they were still available for movie makers. [[User:Greg-Z|Greg-Z]] ([[User talk:Greg-Z|talk]]) 13:39, 18 October 2015 (EDT) | I'm not sure but still have some guesses. Greg-Z (talk) 13:39, 18 October 2015 (EDT)
