CZ 47 is an experimental submachine gun created by Czechoslovak weapons designer Václav Holec in 1947 for Česká zbrojovka. This SMG was meant for crews of tanks and armored vehicles, and therefore the main requirements were compactness and no protruding parts that could affect leaving of damaged tanks.
