The following weapons were used in the video game Metal Gear Solid:Portable Ops:

PORTABLE OPS

Pistols

Mk22 Mod 0 "Hush Puppy" (Smith & Wesson 39)

The Smith & Wesson Model 39 can be obtained at the start of the game. Besides that, the European version can also allow the player to procure an extra Mk22 as part of a spy report mission at the Ravine. The Medics, if they have weapons, always come armed with the Mk22 for unknown reasons. Para-Medic and Elisa, should they be recuited, will also carry Mk22s with them on their person.

M1911A1

The M1911A1 can be found early on in the game at the Communications Base. On the gunloadout screen it is shown sillouted but has the same trigger and ring hammer. For unknown reasons, despite it being an American-made weapon, the various Soviet officers will often use the M1911A1 as their preferred handgun. Roy Campbell also carried a M1911A1 with him, although it ended up stolen by Jonathan when the latter was trying to escape, and subsequently lost it on the truck bed when Naked Snake CQC-slammed him. Naked Snake later used a M1911A1 to shoot the frozen lock of the ex-commander of the San Hieronymo Peninsula, Colonel Skowronski's makeshift cell.

Colt Single Action Army

The Colt Single Action Army can be found in the guest house mission. In addition, Major Ocelot also comes equipped with SAAs, obviously. Ocelot himself also used this gun in-story to murder the DCI and his bodyguards upon cornering him and stealing the other half of the Philosophers' Legacy, as well as presumably left the gun with him to frame his death as a suicide due to disparing over his role in the ICBMG's theft and subsequent launch.

Assault Rifles

AK-47

The AK-47 was used by most of the Red Army soldiers. Jonathan carried the weapon with him, presumably Snake and Roy Campbell gave it back to him after they successfully recruited him. Colonel Skowronski also attempted to kill Python with an AK-47, but it failed to do even so much as tickle him because of his ice abilities. The gun was later frozen by Python in retaliation to Skowronski calling him a monster.

M1919

Naked Snake mentioned seeing M1919 machine guns as spare parts in the crate that formerly contained the CIA weapon (which was either the Intercontinental Ballistic Metal Gear or Metal Gear RAXA). They were later used against Snake during his battle against Ursula and RAXA.

Yak-B

They were seen on several Hind As during various cutscenes, although they were never actually used.

Explosives

RPG-7

The RPG-7 was used by officers and Red Army members. It can be also be obtained and used by the player. Naked Snake later used the RPG-7 twice in an attempt to destroy the ICBMG the second time alongside his men, the latter group doing so to repay him for his risking his life to save Russia from what was then believed to be an actual nuclear attack.

M-388 Davy Crockett

Cunningham possessed an M-388 Davy Crockett on his flying platform, although he never got a chance to use it due to his death. According to him, it was a Soviet-made variant. He planned on using it on the Silo after Gene launches the ICBMG at the Soviet Union in order to cover up the Pentagon's sabotaging the CIA's plan, although after being defeated by Snake, Cunningham, obviously getting desperate to ensure Snake died with him, decided to aim it directly at Snake, although his hovercraft exploded seconds before pressing the button.

RGD-5

The RGD-5 hand grenade was the widely used grenade of the Soviet military, although in-game, it is simply called "Grenade."

RGD-5 High Explosive Fragmentation hand grenade

Liquid Nitrogen Grenade

The Liquid Nitrogen Grenade was a fictional grenade type that was used by Python, and was also presumably developed by the CIA as part of their fitting him with the Liquid Nitrogen suit that pretty much kept him alive. The player can also use this grenade, although only while playing as Python, and likewise can only be thrown. It's item icon shares a similar design to the Chaff, Smoke, and Stun Grenades, meaning it was most likely based on the airsoft canister grenade models.

Stun Grenade

The Stun Grenade reappears in the game, and is utilized by FOX members. Like before, their design was based on the airsoft grenade canisters.

Chaff Grenade

Chaff Grenades reappear in the game, and just like before, their design was based on the airsoft grenade canisters.

Smoke Grenade

Smoke Grenades reappear in the game, and are utilized by both Red Army and FOX soldiers. Like their previous appearances, they are based on the airsoft canisters.

TNT

TNT reappear in the game, where they are given a slightly more major role this time: Naked Snake and his army, in order to distract a checkpoint/blockade at a rail bridge they needed to cross, utilized TNT to blow up key areas of the Western half of the peninsula, including several trucks at both the Supply Depot and the Town, an armory at the Soviet Patrol Base, and necessary computer equipment for the Perfect Soldier Null's culture tank at the Research Lab. They also planned on using it to destroy the power source of the Warhead Storage Facility as a last ditch effort to stop the nukes from being delivered to the Silo. However, Python froze the detonator of the TNT, rendering it useless. This action also saved Snake's group, as the walls in the facility were fragile and thus would have resulted in Snake's group unintentionally destroying their own escape route and trapping them. Besides the above main actions of the game, Snake and his group can also use them to blow up a truck at the Harbor and an armory at the Security Base, which will result in a further deployment of FOX soldiers to the latter location, and it can be used to blow up walls in the Western Wilderness' dungeon and is thus necessary for procuring the SVD.
