Revolution is a television drama that premiered in September of 2012 on NBC in the US. The premise of the series centers around an unknown event that suddenly stops electricity from flowing in electronics and batteries, sending society back to pre-industrial times. Fifteen years following this event, what was once the the United States of America is controlled by militias, who have stockpiled all modern firearms and have banned anyone outside the militia from possessing them. Now, a young girl and a small band of followers travel throughout the country, unaware that they may hold the secret to returning the world to its former state. The series was created by Eric Kripke (Supernatural) and is co-executive produced by J.J. Abrams and Jon Favreau (Iron Man) directed the pilot episode.
The following weapons were used in the television series Revolution (TV Series):
Rifles
Enfield Pattern 1853
The Enfield Pattern 1853 appears to be the rifle used by militia following Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito).
Sniper Rifles
Remington Model 700
In "Chained Heat" (S1E02), Revolution's version of "The Man with No Eyes" is armed with a Remington 700PSS rifle while guarding a chain gang of prisoners moving a helicopter gunship. This rifle is also seen used by Trevor in "No Quarter" (S1E03). Despite being a bolt action rifle we only see Trevor cycle the action when he initially loads it. The rifle is also incorrectly referred to as a "Marine Corps M40A" by the militia unit's leader. However, the M40A3 and M40A5 are built on the Remington 700 - so having only heard the report of the rifle it's a damn good guess by the character.
Handguns
Colt New Service
In "Chained Heat" (S1E02), the man who gives up his shotgun to Neville is seen pulling what appears to be a Colt New Service revolver when the militia attempt to search the rest of his house.
Colt M1911A1
In "No Quarter" (S1E03), Miles Matheson (Billy Burke) is seen carrying an M1911A1 during a flashback.
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) is seen carrying a stainless Desert Eagle Mark XIX as his sidearm throughout the series.
Smith & Wesson 6906
Seen in a flashback, both Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee) and Rachel Matheson (Elizabeth Mitchell) are both armed with the Smith & Wesson 6906 in "Chained Heat" (S1E02).
Smith & Wesson Model 65
In "No Quarter" (S1E03), Jeremy (Mark Pellegrino) appears to carry a .357 Smith & Wesson Model 65 as his sidearm. He is seen making a prisoner play Russian roulette with the revolver. The revolver appears to be a 'non gun' as a safety precaution when the firearm is put to the head of the prisoner. When the rebel is out of frame it appears to be a .357 Model 65.
Shotguns
12 Gauge Double Barrel Shotgun
Grace Beaumont (Maria Howell) is seen holding a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun on Danny Matheson in "Pilot" (S1E01).
Ithaca 37
A man surrenders an Ithaca 37 which he has illegally used to kill a deer in "Chained Heat" (S1E02).
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch UMP
Soldiers seen in General Monroe's encampment are armed with the Heckler & Koch UMP with EOTech holo-sight and AN/PEQ-2 laser designators .
Machine Guns
GE M134 Minigun
In "Chained Heat" (S1E02), a Bell-UH1 Huey helicopter is seen mounted with an M134 minigun.
