Cop Story (Flic Story) is a 1975 French crime movie directed by Jacques Deray. The movie is based on the real story of police inspector Roger Borniche (Alain Delon) and criminal Émile Buisson (Jean-Louis Trintignant).

Handguns
Smith & Wesson Model Military and Police
In the scene of the robbery of restaurant Jean-Baptiste Buisson (André Pousse), Émile Buisson's elder brother, is armed with Smith & Wesson Model Military and Police revolver. Later Mario le Rital (Renato Salvatori) is seen with the same revolver.
Walther P38
In the beginning of the movie Émile Buisson (Jean-Louis Trintignant) is armed with Walther P38. Later he changed it to M1911A1 and to the end of the movie Buisson got another P38 - he called this model his favorite weapon.
M1911A1
After Buisson's P38 jammed, he changed it for M1911A1, taken from his henchman René Bollec (Maurice Barrier). Buisson used this pistol in several scenes until he changed it to another P38.
MAB Model D
Police inspectors Roger Borniche (Alain Delon), Hidoine (Henri Guybet) and Darros (Denis Manuel) are armed with MAB Model D pistols. This is historically correct weapon for French police of late 1940s-early 1950s when the story takes place.
Beretta M951
One of Buisson's henchmen, Jeannot (Adolfo Lastretti), is armed with Beretta M951 pistol in the scene of the robbery of factory office.
Submachine guns
Sten Mk II
In the scene of the robbery of restaurant Buisson's companion Mario le Rital (Renato Salvatori) is armed with Sten Mk II (Canadian model).
MAS-38
In one scene a gendarme holds MAS-38. In the final scene several police officers are seen with MAS-38s.
Other weapon
F1 hand grenade
In the final scene Émile Buisson (Jean-Louis Trintignant) is armed with F1 hand grenade.

A lot of firearms are seen on the wall and on the table in the police ballistic laboratory.
