Double Impact is a 1991 action film starring Jean-Claude Van Damme in dual roles as a set of twins who are raised in separate countries and environments after their parents are killed, and with no knowledge of each other. They join forces to take down the man responsible for their parents' deaths and their stolen inheritance. Van Damme portrays both Alex, a French-raised karate instructor fond of short-shorts and the color pink, and Chad, a low level crook raised in Hong Kong and fond of cigars and leather jackets.
The following weapons were used in the film Double Impact
Handguns
Desert Eagle Mark IV
A Desert Eagle MK IV fitted with a cumbersome 1980's laser sight mounted on top is used by a Triad in the drug factory shootout. Judging by the size of the bore, it was most likely a .357 Magnum version. Being the most popular version in early '90 movies.
Beretta 92FS
Alex (Jean-Claude Van Damme) uses a Beretta 92FS during the raid on the warehouse, chambering it upside down after a dive roll into combat. He later draws his second Beretta and dual-wields them for the duration of the warehouse shootout.
Inglis Hi-Power
An Inglis Hi-Power is used by Paul in the opening shootout, initially hidden in his vehicles door panel.
Walther P38
A Walther P38 used by one of the Triad members at the opening shootout.
Colt M1911
A Colt M1911 is used by Alex in the hotel room. Chad claims it will not work, and Alex responds by firing it in excess of ten times into a window.
If you look close at the barrel when the slide locks back, you can see that it could be a 9mm version.
Kongberg 1911
A Kongberg M 1914, a Norwegian copy of the Colt 1911, is seen in the hands of Frank (Geoffrey Lewis) during the opening shootout.
Colt Model 1903/1908
A nickel plated Colt Pocket Hammerless is used as the sidearm of Griffith.
Unknown Smith & Wesson
A unknown Smith & Wesson (looks like the words 'Smith & Wesson' are on the barrel) is used by Triad's to coerce Chad into going with them.
It appears to be a M27 with a 3.5 inch barrel from the last picture.
Smith & Wesson Model 29
A Smith & Wesson Model 29 is used by Triad gangsters throughout, and also used by Frank alongside his M1911 during the opening shootout.
Smith & Wesson Model 60
A Smith & Wesson Model 60 'Ladysmith' is used by a smuggler on the boat to threaten Alex.
Wait - in the 2nd picture, how is the trigger back that far and a round not have gone off? Movie mistake?
Answer: Notice that the hammer is cocked, and the revolver is now functioning in single-action mode. Therefore, the trigger SHOULD be that far back, and thus, this is NOT a movie mistake.
Shotguns
Remington 870
An Remington 870 is used by the Triad assassin Moon (Bolo Yeung) to kill Paul at the beginning of the film.
Rifles
CAR-15
Initially carried on Alex's boat for protection, it is later used by Frank for the duration of the film. It has a birdcage style flash-hider.
CAR-15 with M203 Grenade Launcher
A CAR-15 with an M203 Grenade Launcher is used by a Triad at the beach hotel to fire tear gas grenades.
M16A1 rifle
An M16A1 is used by Triad soldiers during the beach hotel attack, some with Vietnam style short magazines. One is recovered and used by Chad. Distinguishable as an A1 because of it's triangular foregrip and old style pistol grip.
AK-47
The smugglers during the boat shootout are armed with AK-47s.
Winchester Model 70
A Winchester Model 70 is used by Frank (Geoffrey Lewis) at the warehouse. Fitted with a massive scope.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Heckler & Koch MP5A3's are seen in the hands of Triad members at the drug warehouse, and are also used by Chad during the raid. It is fitted with a telescoping stock, and a slimline forearm. Interesting to note that the sound used to dub the MP5 gunshots is switched with the Uzi halfway through the film.
Uzi
Full size Uzi's are used by Triad members at the drug warehouse.
Mini Uzi
Mini Uzi's are seen in the hands of Triad members at the warehouse.
Micro Uzi
A Micro Uzi is used by one of the Triad members who attack the hotel.
