Captain America: The First Avenger is the 2011 feature film adaptation of the Marvel comic book series. Directed by Joe Johnston (The Rocketeer), the film stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, a young man from Brooklyn who during the Second World War, desires to join the war effort, but is rejected due to his undersized stature. When he volunteers to be part of a secret US program, he then finds himself genetically transformed into the world's first super soldier. The film is also part of the same Marvel film universe that includes Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, and Thor and will culminate in 2012's The Avengers.
The following weapons were used in the film Captain America: The First Avenger:
Colt M1911A1
The M1911A1 is used by both Captain America (Chris Evans) as well as by Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell).
Walther PPK
The Walther PPK is also used by Peggy to try to stop the car carrying Kruger.
Walther P38
A Walther P38 is used by Heinz Kruger (Richard Armitage) during his attack on the SSR laboratory early in the film, and his subsequent escape through the streets of New York. In typical film fashion, he fires far more rounds than the pistol can hold. Another notable goof is that it does not lock empty, but simply clicks when Kruger tries to fire it.
Luger P08
Johann Schmidt (Hugo Weaving) uses a Luger P08 in the first scene of the film. After this, however, it is replaced with a fictional energy pistol that is similar to the Luger in shape. During Captain America's war bonds tour, an actor portraying Hitler is seen with a Luger P08 before he's knocked out.
Sten MkII SMG
A Sten MkII is seen carried by both James Montgomery Falsworth (J. J. Feild) and Jacques Dernier (Bruno Ricci), members of Captain America's "Howling Commandos". Some of the HYDRA weapons appear to be mocked-up Stens as well
M1928 Thompson
The M1928A1 Thompson fitted with the 50 round drum magazine is first used by Heinz Kruger (Richard Armitage) who is seen firing an M1928 Thompson while making his escape. Another one is seen fired by Captain America in a promotional movie reel.
M1928A1 Thompson
The M1928A1 Thompson fitted with the 30 round magazine is seen used by Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), and Gabe Jones (Derek Luke) as well as American forces. Captain America is seen with one slung over his shoulder as well.
MP40
The MP40 is heavily used by Nazi soldiers and HYDRA soldiers throughout the film.
M3 / M3A1 "Grease Gun"
A soldier is seen with an M3 submachine gun as the army storm the final HYDRA base.
M1 Garand Rifle
Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is seen training with the M1 Garand.
M1 Carbine
Various US soldiers use the M1 Carbine in both regular and A1 folding-stock configurations throughout the film.
M1941 Johnson rifle
Bucky is seen with a scoped M1941 Johnson rifle in the mountains.
Browning M1919A4
One of the Howling Commandos, Gabe Jones (Derek Luke), is armed with a Browning M1919A4 machine gun, which he carries freehand.
Winchester 1897
A Winchester 1897 "Trench" gun is the main gun carried by Dum Dum Dugan (Neal McDonough). Colonel Phillips (Tommy Lee Jones) carries one in the final battle as well.
Mk 2 hand grenade
A dummy Mk 2 hand grenade is thrown by Colonel Chester Phillips (Tommy Lee Jones) at the U.S. Army recruits during boot camp training.
Mills Bomb
One of the Howling Commandos (the British one, I think) carries several Mills bombs
Custom Weapons
The HYDRA organization wields several custom weapons including custom machine guns, energy weapons, and flamethrowers.
