The Winchester Model 1890 was the first rifle that Winchester produced that was a Slide-Action. The gun was actually designed by John and Mathew Browning when it was chambered for .22 short, long, and Rimfire (WRF), but not interchangeably.

Taurus made some modern clones of the classic Winchester Model 1890 pump action rifle. In addition to a full sized clone of the Model 1890, the Model 62, Taurus also made a carbine/youth version called the Model 62C, which sported a shorter barrel.
