Manufactured from 1990 to 1997. The standard version of the Colt Double Eagle has a 5" barrel with 8 round capacity (chambered in either .45 ACP or 10mm). The Colt Double Eagle Commander has a 4.5" barrel (chambered in .45 ACP or .40 S&W), and the smallest version, the Colt Double Eagle Officer, has a 3.5" barrel (chambered only in .45 ACP).
