I think Chuck Connor's character also has a MAC-10 which is part of a screw on attachment to his prosthetic arm.  Kind of a loopy thing but this was a loopy movie. --[[User:Charon68|Charon68]] 02:08, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi Charon, you're thinking of ''99 and 44/100% Dead'' where Chuckles has a brief gag where he pulls a similar Winchester of 'The Rifleman' out of the boot of his car.  Also, I've always been fascinated by seeing clips of a different opening to the show that I can't recall seeing (I mostly watched it in reruns, I was brought up on 'Mr Rifleman's Neighbourhood' not 'Mr Rogers' Neighbourhood'    http://il.youtube.com/watch?v=DZ2q3fdC0ow&feature=related  [[User:Foofbun|Foofbun]] 19:28, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

I remember we used to have an article for this film only it listed Heston's weapon as a S&W 38/49 bodyguard. Why was the old article deleted? -Anonymous

I believe it was felt to be inadequate. There were no screencaps and ,if I remember correctly, it only listed the S&W Model 38. Glad to see it's back. It's a grim movie, but it's one of Heston's Science Fiction Trio and should be on Imfdb along with The Omega Man and Planet of the Apes. --Jcordell 13:23, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
