SPAS-12
Isn't the pump action on the SPAS-12 engaged for less powerful rounds, not more powerful? I was pretty certain that it exists to cycle the weapon when a less-than-lethal round or similar is used which lacks the necessary pressure to operate the weapon in semi-automatic mode. (I imagine this would also include the "non-functional" ammunition used for movie special effects, hence why SPAS-12s are forever being used in manual mode in film.)
