Revision as of 06:44, 1 July 2010

Added the Remington 700, Colt Lawman MK III, Federal M201-Z and a close-up of Col. Decker wielding the MAC-10. If I misidentified any of the weapons feel free to make the necessary corrections -- User:Milkovich 09:36, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Hannibal used a nickel S&W Auto? Huh? Is someone mistaking a Browning Hi-Power for a S&W or is this some other gun he might have used at some point (the Hi-Power was his go to sidearm) that is being referred to?

Hannibal carried a chrome S&W 639(or 39) in his waist band or holster but when he's shown shooting a hand gun its nearly always a Browning HP. But because of the rivalry between Peppard and Mr. T, Peppard is the only actor seen using an M60 machine gun while Mr. T is seen to be using the chrome S&W auto.--The Mercenary 18:07, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

Maybe you guys should rewatch the series. They still show it in my city. At the beginnnig of the series, Hannibal carrid a Browning Hi-Power, later on, he switches to a Smith & Wesson 63p. B.A. carried a full sized Star handgun, not sure of the exact model.

About Done

I finished adding the weapons featured in Seasons 2, 3 and 4. I´ll add those missing from Seasons 1 and 5 tomorrow if I get around to it. There is still the one revolver at the bottom of this discussion page to identify.

Alright. This is almost it. The UZI carbine still needs a screencap and I got two more weapons which have to be identified. I will add them to the bottom of this page later. -- User:Milkovich 10:50, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Just tried to replace one of the old screencaps, but the site wont let me. -- User:Milkovich 18:51, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Unknown Smith & Wesson

Hannibal used a nickel S&W Classic auto for almost the whole show...it may have been a 539, but I don't know.

Given the difficulty determining single or double stack, the following could have been his S&W pistol:

Model 439 Model 539 Model 639 Model 459 Model 559 Model 659

No, it was definitely a single-stack model. The way you can tell the difference is by looking for the bulges in the frame (represented by vertical lines) that indicate where the frame was widened to take a double-stack magazine. If it doesn't have those, it's a single-stack model, and Hannibal's gun definitely didn't have them. I'm pretty sure it was a 539.

I think it's a Star Model BDillinger

Too small for a Model B. MoviePropMaster2008 21:44, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

I'm thinking it's maybe a Llama III? --Ben41 00:51, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Discussion moved here, updates to Mini 14 section will be forthcoming

Correction. During The A-Team series they did not use GB (Government Bayonet/Barrel) models as a rule. Some of the bad guys did from time to time and in the episode Trouble On Wheels the Team actually had AC-556 GB models mounted to the side of the car they built. Also in Bounty the team mounted 2 AC-556F shortys in BA's van. There are also other instances where the bad guys used Ruger Mini 14 and AC-556 GB models. The stainless factory folders the team used were simply basic Mini 14s with regular barrels on them. They had Federal Ordnance flash suppresors on them. People keep thinking they were GB models and they were not. They did not have the bayonet lug mount and they had standard front sights. Again they are simiple Federal Ordnance flash suppressors. See picture. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/5150rob/PDVD_006.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/5150rob/8.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/5150rob/4.jpg In the second season the team also had nickel plated Federal Ordnance handguards on them as well. Again notice the standard Mini 14 barrel with Federal Ordnance flash suppresor. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/5150rob/maltese1.jpg In season 3 through 5 they had the regular black Black Ruger ventilated handguards on them. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/5150rob/at9.jpg Here is a picture of my 2 Ruger Mini 14 rifles decked out in exact A-Team configuration. Both Mini 14s have the exact Federal Ordnance flash suppresors on them and the season 2 replica also has the Federal Ordnance handguard and the other had the standard Ruger black handguard. The other Ruger is my AC-556F seen in BA's van in the Bounty episode. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/5150rob/DSC01115.jpg

The 4th picture down looks like an Eagle "Apache" Carbine. http://www.pixhost.com/pixg/gotvett/allspitfires%5B1%5D.jpg -Ranger01 20:32, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the help, but it does not match up 100 %, check [1]. This guy has a good side view of the Apache. The biggest difference is the fore-grip and a few details on the receiver (I am not exactly gun-savvy, so I am not familiar with the correct terminology here). There is another clone called the Spitfire which I haven't been able to dig more info up on this far. -Milkovich 10:12, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

Added two grenade launchers. The second looks like a Federal Gas, but this one has sights on the launch tube. -Milkovich 10:12, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
