The following guns were used in the movie Body of Lies
Handguns
M1911
Seen in the the hands of Bassam (Oscar Isaac) briefly during the first desert fight. Skip (Vince Colosimo)also carries a 1911.
Glock 19
Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio) uses a Glock 19 as his sidearm in the desert and throughout the rest of the film. It is most notably seen when he threatens a Jihadist in the Desert.
Heckler & Koch USP Compact
In a deleted scene, Ferris can be seen loading a HK USP Compact in his car.
Submachine guns
Heckler & Koch MP5
The British SWAT team are carrying A3 models with tactical flashlights and red dot sights. Some are seen with the Navy trigger group.
Skorpion SA Vz 61
Ferris uses this weapon with a 20 round magazine during the safehouse shootout scene in the beginning of the movie. In the scene where Ferris fires his weapon once in the city, but it sounded suppressed without a suppressor fitted.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
Seen used by Hani's men at the end of the movie very briefly.
Rifles
Heckler & Koch G36
Seen briefly in the opening scene where a British SWAT team moves into a building where a terrorist is making a bomb. They have RIS rails on the top of the receiver and have EOtech Holographic sights mounted and flashlights mounted to the side of the barrel. Because the rest of the barrels weren't exposed to light, it is hard to tell if they were full size G36 or Ks.
Heckler & Koch G36C
Agent Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio) uses this rifle when he was being chased in the desert. It was fitted with the dual optics carrying handle.
M14
Used by Bassam to cover Ferris' entrance to the safehouse. It has a synthetic furniture instead of wood.
M16A2
Seen briefly at a border station.
M4A1
During the scenes of battle in Iraq, we see US soldiers fighting with M4s, one of them has an EOtech sight, but it was put on backwards. An M4 was also briefly seen in the opening scene in the hands of one of the British SWAT member.
AKM
Seen carried by terrorists.
Norinco Type 56-1
AKMSU
In the hands of terrorists.
Remington 700
A possible Remington 700 rifle was seen in the beginning scene in UK on the roof.
I was under the impression that this was an Accuracy International L-96A1 or similar AI design. Can anyone check on that?SAWGunner89 16:02, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
Machine guns
FN MAG
Seen mounted on the doors of helicopter gunships that came to save Farris.
M240 SAW
Seen carried by US soldiers during the battle in Iraq.
Unknown Machine gun
Seen in the opening terrorist's video.
-Is this not a PK or PKM?SAWGunner89 16:03, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
Other
RPG-7
Terrorists uses the RPG during the desert chase to try and take out the attack helicopter. While they miss the helicopter, one of the RPG's is able to hit the car carrying Ferris and Bassam.
