Walther PPK

CIA operative Tom Bishop (Brad Pitt) carries a Walther PPK during his rescue mission inside the Su Chou prison.

AK variant

After his first assassination mission for Muir in Vietnam, Bishop fires at the NVA helicopter with an AK-47 variant or Norinco copy. Many of the Lebanese terrorists, North Vietnamese soldiers, Viet Cong guerrillas, East German border guards, and Chinese prison guards carry these as well.

U.S. and South Vietnamese soldiers in Vietnam carry variants of the M16 rifle series, namely the M16A1 rifle with 30-round magazines. US Embassy Marines in Beriut can also be seen armed with M16A1 rifles.
