The Furies (1950) was directed by Anthony Mann (Raw Deal (1948), Winchester '73), based on the novel by Niven Busch, and starred Barbara Stanwyck, Wendell Corey, Walter Huston, Judith Anderson, and Gilbert Roland. In an incredible stunt, Walter Huston, then 67 years old, wrangled a live bull to the ground. An estranged, strong-will daughter, Vance Jeffords (Stanwyck), seeks revenge against her tyrannical father, New Mexico land-baron T. C. Jeffords (Huston).
The following firearms were used in the film The Furies:
Remington 1866 Derringer
Rip Darrow (Corey) carries the Remington 1866 Derringer.
Colt Single Action Army
T. C. Jefford’s gang wield Colt Single Action Armys
Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine
The Herrera clan carry the Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine.
